Update: So Cubesmart corporate responded to my review and said reach out to them. I sent them an email and asked them to review the recording of the awful call and Steven’s rude behavior. They did not respond to my email, and now they are raising my rate by $50 a month!! What a shady company and location.

Terrible experience with Steven. I went to access my unit this morning and the access code didn’t work. I called the office number multiple times after their posted opening time, and no one answered until 10 minutes after that. When I did got someone, he claimed that he had talked to me multiple times and told me the system had been suspended since I hadn’t been there in a certain period of time. I told him he had never spoken to me, and then he claimed he had left me messages. I told him I had no messages from him, then he claimed I must have given him the wrong number. When I said it’s the same number that worked to get into my app (and started to say that Carlos had no problem reaching me on that number before), he cut me off, rudely said “I’m fixing your problem.” and hung up on me. Do not waste your time at this place. As great as Carlos was checking us in, Steven is rude and incompetent.
Update: I went back through my voicemails, and there was one voicemail from Steven on May 1, no others. That voicemail said it was a courtesy call about my new space, and said nothing about the access code or any issue. This means that Steven did have the right phone number, and yet I had no calls or voicemails or emails about the access code issue. I still can’t believe how unprofessional he was today, and there was no call for it. I just needed it fixed, and he started spouting all those false accusations. It was very unsettling, and now I’m worried about leaving my property there since I’m leaving an honest but negative review. What a terrible experience, that could have been totally different if Steven had been the slightest bit professional or compassionate.

Wonderful experience at the Cheyenne Ave CubeSmart! Steven (CubeSmart Agent) was very personable and knowledgeable. After meeting with him and touring the site we decided we did not need to look any further… this would be the storage site to use!!! It is very clean and easily accessible. Can’t say enough nice things about—- most directed to Steven (a great representative for CubeSmart)!

Came in right after lunch. Steve took care of us. He was very thorough and gave us choices. He also took care of mom and her unit. It was a great experience overall.

Carlos was absolutely wonderful kind and informative. Explain to me everything and the locking system which is incredible. Steve the manager of this location is also just as kind and nice. But I was lucky at a lot of help that day thank you so much. I highly recommend them

I was in need of storage and found this CubeSmart location offered exactly what I needed. The storage rates are competitive and affordable. The manager, Steven, was very welcoming and made the rental process an enjoyable one. He is knowledgeable, professional and very friendly.I appreciate that he took the time to answer my questions. He also explained the gate entry and exit process manually, as well as on the CubeSmart app. I was also very pleased with the appearance of the property as it is well maintained and very clean. I highly recommend this storage facility.
