This is my to go vet clinic. Right by the house. I take my 3 dogs and 2 cats there. Everyone is friendly and never had issue. They also helped put to sleep my dying Kitty of 19-20 years of age. It was difficult, but I appreciate them for their assistance.

Service...Broken Dew Claw. Cost $300. Called Mon @9am. Had appointment @10. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Vet didn't make any impression. Even seemed offended when I told her what I wanted done before she could explain it to me. Whatever, this is 3rd time my poor pup broke a nail. From outta town and was an emergency. Thank you to the sweet woman who gave us a blanket for the Uber.

I took my dog in today to have a sultra remove since I couldn't do the day Dr Arn was available. I verified the day before with front desk that the dr available can do it. When I got there, the dr told me he can't do it and would not do it and it's his last day at that hospital...why would they scheduled me with that dr then? Now I have to take another trip back tomorrow juggling the same day I have to go to a funeral.

all bad reviews unfortunately are true, before becomes vca, the assistants were caring, the vets were kind and showed interested, i had great doctors for few years, but seems like they can't stay much longer, if you take your pet today you probably won't see he same next week, revolving door. they became a money focus, i understand they have costs, the vets have loans, the assistants need to be paid, but nobody leaves the clinic ever with less than 200 bill, for almost nothing, hey wnat to jack up your bill with a gazillion in tests for profit only, it is no longer about pets and people, no more vaccine clinic, so what is left, ???

Do not bring your pet here. All these people care about is there money. When my friends dog needed surgery they wouldn't perform it until he paid for it completely. She ended up dying because when they finally got to do the surgery it was too late. They also after she had her surgery, she unfortunately ended up passing due to them not watching her close enough. Just don't trust these people they are careless and only care about getting paid . When an animal needs emergency surgery they should do what needs to be done to save the animals life and worry about payment after.. So upsetting to see animals treated so unfairly.

Rude staff!! If this place could be give zero stars based on todays attitude and willingness to help they would get a zero!!! Girls at the front are no help one wanted me to wait and see if the doc could see my dog but it would be around $130.00!! Of course after saying she’s like well you know what the doctor can’t see her today she’s the only one and she’s doing surgeries so if it’s an actually an emergency she would send you elsewhere since we don’t have that equipment… What?! Multiple discrepancies here last time I took my dog on 7/11 was without a consult and it was around 80ish and today magically it’s 50 bucks more!! This place rather wants you to suffer along with your baby because they did not want to do their job!!! What a shame I liked this place but I see that they don’t care about you unless your willing to pay so much? for a walk in. Now here I am trying to look elsewhere since they refused to help my dog out! I do not recommend this place.

Quick and easy to set up an appointment. They also have an app where VCA locations can see your information and see records. Staff here was polite and helpful. Hopefully Cinnamon's allergy shot helps! Will be using this location for my Vet needs!

Dr. Jernia bustria (if you wanna call her doctor) saw our family dog and literally all she said was ‘there’s nothing we can do’ then proceeded to prescribe us medicine without giving us any more information or health advice. Definitely was transactional and I don’t feel like she truly cared about what happened to him. Why be a vet if you don’t care about what happens to the animals that see you?

This is one of only 2 Vet Clinics in Las Vegas that specialize in canine reproduction.Over the years Vet education has radically changed. Older vets were trained more robustly in all facets of veterinary care and species.. These facets are now considered "specializations" and require additional schooling.Good luck trying to find specialized vets in the Las Vegas area. Though they do exist they are few and far between. VDC Dessert Inn has one such Vet on a limited basis - Dr. Dennis Arn.VDC Dessert Inn is a great practice with a lot of caring and talents vets. With Dr. Arn semi - retired, I pray they are 100% utilizing him as a education and training resource for their existing staff in hope of . I hope "passing of the torch" for when he finally decides to fully retire. It is this specialized services, that sets VDC Dessert Inn apart and gives them a step up from the competition.

All the poor reviews on here are pretty accurate & don't believe then when they say "sorry your experience didn't meet your expectations". They weren't sorry when they took my money lol. The front desk is very uninformative, rude, and unconcerned like they're only looking after themselves and tryna to keep a job. Went in for a check up on my dog, but they didn't tell me about the ~$80 charge when I went in for a visit my first time. Said blood work, dental exam, dental work, removal of cist, etc. came to a total of ~1,500$ . I remember asking the veterinarian a-lot of questions during the check up & before she left, its like she sighed and laughed in relief to the other vets. As if i was wasting her time because she clocked out after that. I had to ask for the manager after being uninformed about the unknown check up charge on my pet. She explained "its like that at every vet". I will be looking into other vets and see if thats true and if i can find better pricing than VCA. Probably my first and last visit here. Not too sure about the employees and how they handle things. Dueces!

These people are more interested in ripping you off then they are in the welfare of your animal. Before they would do anything, they charge you an excruciatingly ridiculous price for almost anything yesterday my dog needed bloodwork and x-rays it was $985.00If your dog is not gonna die, perhaps check somebody else out. We have been using these people for years and we're going to be looking for a new vet if you want to get ripped off use these people.

Have been coming to this animal hospital for years!I've been here for serval different reason from simple vaccines, to emergency visits to euthanization due to terminal illness. Every time they staff and doctors have been extremely caring, knowledgeable and understanding. My most recent visit I took my kitten, Mochi, for her first vet visit. They explained everything thoroughly and provided a lot of tips and recommendations. The doctor came in and demonstrated how to trim her nails as I was too scared to do so. I wish they had their extended hours and weekends- reason why I originally came here but I still highly recommend this place!!
