Didn't like the shower curtain, needed to be straight or glass because you flood the entire bathroom in the first 45 seconds.Food & drinks: The bar in the lobby is also a restaurant. Which I will say I was impressed with. We ate in the room, just tired from drive.

Forgot my small bag called asking about it but was told lost and found room was being organized. Called a few months later and no bag. I remember putting in the drawer. I know it's my fault for forgetting it but I wish I could have gotten it back ?Safety: Don't forget your stuff

I stayed here because it was reasonably priced and smoke-free. Before check-in (even in daylight hours) you have to ask for admittance via a Ring doorbell-like setup; I’m assuming this is due to the sketchy neighborhood that it’s in. While the inside is smoke-free, people are allowed to sit on a bench right outside the front door and blow smoke at you while you’re waiting for someone to let you into the building. Pool was unusable. Hallway restrooms are also out of commission. Only one elevator is functioning and it is extremely slow. The biggest problem, however, is that there is no hot water… the front desk said they’d “look into it.” Not much better than conditions in a third world country at this hotel… will not be returning.

Great hotel, I did not experience any of the issues that the other reviewers mention. Waits at the bar and for breakfast seemed very long, the hotel seemed understaffed in those areas.

The rooms were recently remodeled but there's alot wrong with the hotel (and it has been that way for months according to the reviews). There's still only one working elevator and it sounds like it's on its last legs when you're waiting for it (and you will be waiting, it is super slow). The water heater is apparently broken and many of us in the morning didn't get any hot water and were told we were just using it at a busy time when we complained. The $15 credit doesn't go far with breakfast and there wasn't even free coffee in the lobby. WIFI was inconsistent.Area outside the hotel is sketchy with a rundown apartment complex, abandoned lots filled with trash, and strange people walking around. The front door of the hotel is locked at night and guarded which is comforting but also tells you how bad the neighborhood can be.Overall, it was inconsistent by inconsistent Doubletree standards and not what I would consider to be Hilton quality.I'd stay at the airport hampton inn if you're looking for a cheap option that's off the strip. They at least have a free shuttle to and from the airport.

Hotel is just off Strip, but a little far to walk to it. Had to Uber to Convention Center. Hotel is under renovation and what’s completed is very nice. The neighborhood across/up the street is a dramatic change from normal…but as long as you stay in property, you’re fine.Rooms: Roomy and well appointed

Rooms are clean and spacious but we only had hot water for two of the five days we stayed, on those days the water was either scalding or freezing, no in between. When we asked the front desk mid week if we would have hot water again he brushed us off saying his shift had just stated. He could have asked our room numbers (we had a block) or called maintenance, at the very least he could have acted like he cared or made an effort to resolve.Location is a short ride to the convention center but the area is not walkable, factor car hire fees into your stay as they do not have a shuttle.

Homeless people everywhere! Management is horrible. I would not recommend anyone staying there.

Stayed here one night for Superbowl weekend. I went through so many reviews on Expedia and Google comparing other hotels to see who I should book. A common review for this hotel was about receiving the cookie. Why was a cookie so important for people to review? Well, we checked in late Saturday night before the Superbowl. To my surprise, there was no long line. The guest ahead of me asked for the cookie, but when I checked in, the friendly gentleman gave me a bag with waters and the cookies. After tasting the cookie, I now understand why receiving this cookie is so important!I had a great experience with checking in as it was quick, I felt my vehicles were safe in the garage, and the room was clean and spacious. Book the trip, get your cookie.

The staff here is incredible and very thoughtful. The room was nice, not really special. I wish there was more of a view of Vegas. Not much right around it other than a rundown apartment and chain restaurants. But if you’re looking to be in Vegas on a a budget and away from the craziness, this would fit the bill.

Excellent accessibility in and around the vicinity. I was in town for a contractor meeting and preferred not to stay on the strip. I stayed for approximately 28 hours. The parking garage was conveniently accessible, with direct access from the garage to the room level. The daytime staff, particularly the female staff member, was incredibly friendly. However, the free internet access was not satisfactory for my work and meeting preparations, as it was slow. The hot shower was and toiletries were a nice plus, not heavily scented.Nearby activities: Just a short walk, drive or Uber from the strip. Quiet, away from the noise.

Nice hotel and great price for Vegas. It's a 20-25 minute walk distance from the strip but it's fine. Couple great food options around which is good. Bus stop right around the corner. The staff was super kind, clean room and some has view to the Sphere.Rooms: I think they renovated the room not long agoSafety: The parking lot is super safe, they have a big metal fenceWalkability: Walkable distance from the strip
