I’ve been to countless raves here. For bigger DJs, they open up the entire festival grounds—for smaller crowds, they only use part of it, which creates interesting dynamics. The production is absolutely incredible. The location is great as well, being in Downtown, you’re walking distance to everything the area has to offer, and the buildings around the venue create a true urban feel to the area. I will say that bathrooms can get quite congested and they don’t offer free water, which is incredibly disappointing. I can’t see why they don’t have that option for those bringing in refillable water bottles/hydropacks. The staff can also be a toss up, and the front of house people are really just tryna get people in so not the most personable. Other than that, pretty good venue.

There are guys standing at the mens restrooms holding the doors open the entire time. If you wouldn't prop the women's room door open for all to see at anytime why would you do it to the men? Shut the bathroom doors and get those people away from the doors. It feels so unsafe to have them there holding the bathroom door open all day. Close the bathroom doors!

So I'm only rating this from my one personal experience where I paid over 100.00 more for the "VIP" experience because they said they had "seating, designated concessions, and bar". There was only enough seating for about one tenth of the people who paid for it. It was not a premier experience at all and did not give a great heads on view of the stage. There were a lot of obstructions to seeing the full stage. I ended up just going down to the general admission area.

First time here and it was Santa Run! Great experience with a great space offering bar areas, food trucks and nice lawn turf. I would go back here for other events for sure!

Staff will gaslight you and tell you that you tried to injure their staff despite adhering to their instructions. It’s a shame since the venue seems to allow dancing but has a fine line for anyone close to barricades. I had an unfortunate experience with management telling me they would brief their staff and staff telling me that it was my fault for being hurt. I was quickly ushered out of the venue despite being injured by event staff. A true shame to the entire downtown Las Vegas image.

Shows at the event center are typically fun. I have been to about 8 EDM shows at this venue and have had fun. The drinks are big and expensive. There are 2 stage areas. One of the stages is covered. The shows typically go past 1am.

Went to Vegas for Reggae Rise up 2023 and it didn't disappoint! Downtown Vegas was blocked off for 3 days to hit the festival. There were hundreds of people all in a "one love" vibe. They brought their kids and good vibes and everyone looked like they had a blast. I was happy that I got to see Rebelution for 2023 because I missed them playing over the summer at Stanford. It was a great time and I'll be back next year!

Nice, spacious venue. They’re pretty good about not overselling. The entry line has been getting significantly longer/slower than it used to be. Wish there were better food options for dietary restrictions. The sound is awfully quiet sometimes for shows.Overall though, I have a great time and don’t feel overwhelmed by overcrowding! I will keep returning for events :)

Attended this venue for Reggae Rise Up Festival, and it was awesome. Felt safe and relaxed the whole time I was there, plenty of room and food options. When the event was over, Fremont Street was literally out the exit and down the street. From one party experience to another. If you haven't been to Old Vegas, and there is a venue at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, you should definitely check it out!

Honestly place is whatever depending on the weather .. something I didn't like which I don't even know is legal. I asked for a cup of water my friend was overheating and dehydrated and my wallet was in my friends backpack were we store our stuff and the dude said I can't give you a cup of water legally but you can buy a water bottle for 5$ . Wtf. That's crazy. I asked 3 people for a damn cup of water and was denied my friend was overheating and I literally just wanted to get him a cup of water. Luckily some nice guy paid 5 dollars.
