“So I used to receive treatment at The Center Wellness Clinic, but I think they changed management or something because they stopped answering the phones/returning my (and other people's) calls. I then heard about HEALOR and decided to give them a try.

My PCP is Malcolm, who's a VERY busy guy but still attentive and gets things done. ? I gave him a very long list of things that were bothering me/that I needed, and he and his assistant Michael were on it with prescribing meds and writing referrals.

Reception is quick to respond and on top of answering calls, scheduling/rescheduling appointments, and answering questions (both by phone and text).

Getting labs done is cheap ($20), quick and efficient too; you can either get them done at HEALOR or at any Quest Diagnostics.

Overall, HEALOR is a great (and inclusive) place to receive primary care for anyone, including but not limited to the LGBTQIA+ community. ✨”

“I’ve had nothing but excellent service time and time again from Dr. Phoenix, JP and their care team.

My Wife and I been going to Huntridge Family Clinic since 2021. Everyone was respectful, able to properly distribute my HRT and take care of me better than a traditional PCP. AND he’s the only LGBTQ+ Provider that accepts my (state) insurance.

So regardless of where he is located, we will always show up, the same way he has showed up for me, my family and the LGBTQ+ Community.

Thank you Huntridge Family Clinic for all that you do and have done.”

“Came here for the first time today. Parking lot is huge with plenty of spaces and handicap parking available. Once you enter the building, you need to check in with the kiosk. They are located behind the front info desk. They aren’t very noticeable unless you actually see them. Once you get a number you want until the big automated voice calls you where you need to go. It seems like a streamlined process but I did see a lot of folks confused by it.
The lab is short staffed at this location so walk-ins for lab service wait up to 40 minutes.
Just about all the staff I encountered were friendly and willing to listen to my questions/concerns. In the past, I have had some very negative experiences at other VA facilities at different locations. So far, the folks here are doing a pretty decent job.”

“DONT LET THE REVIEWS DISCOURAGE U Clinic sees lots of ppl, they do the best they can and squeeze u in. If u go to a diff office u will have to wait 3+ mo to try to get in. JUST LIKE ANY OTHER OFFICE u have to wait to be seen. If you don’t like to wait in the waiting areas they’ve given me the option to wait in my car and call me back when it’s about to be my turn to make sure I am in the area. But they are all nice and caring. Been coming here for 5+ years and I noticed over the yrs the ones who get mad/angry at the doc’s are ppl that are wanting to get narcotics then stomp out saying the doc won’t give u hydrocodone(witnessed this once before) SMH DUDE LIKE??anyways the doc will hear u out & give you actual solutions instead of just writing u a script! I personally prefer someone who cares about my over all health than treating me as a number and writing me meds.”

“There was a mishap with my insurance during my first appointment with FirstMed (not on the part of FirstMed themselves), but the staff was super patient with me and was still able to see me. Josie was especially helpful in helping us understand the process and took time to meet with us independently to clarify things and make sure our needs were met (following the appointment) and next steps we needed to make sure everything was set for the following appointment. Josie even conducted a follow-up phone call before said next appointment to help cover all bases. We sincerely appreciated the quality of care and concern received and feel like we are definitely being cared for by this FirstMed facility. Thank you Josie and staff!”

“Dr. Chamian and her staff were all very good to me. I did wait an hour but she gave me her full and unrushed attention once it was my turn. She even followed up with an unanswered question after hours.”

“I’m rewriting my previous review, as it was frustratingly done after multiple failed attempts with getting things done with my healthcare… I originally gave just one star, and now I give four!

First, let me explain the type of healthcare facility this is.. I believe this is a government sponsored medical system that sees patients with no regard to insurance or medical needs. They treat everyone- with or without insurance.. So you can imagine the quality of care and service you’re going to receive… If you want better quality care, and you have better insurance, then this place probably isn’t for you.. They are overrun and probably underpaid workers doing the best they can(most of them).

I raised their stars from one to four because of the workers attitudes(again, most of them), and their determination and tremendous effort in doing everything they possibly can.. I actually feel sorry for them because of the enormous workload they must endure.. I recently went in for an appointment and was quite surprised at how pleasant and helpful everyone was.. They really do try!!
But if you really need some serious healthcare issues taken care of, be prepared to wait and possibly make a few phone calls to make sure things are being done.. I do give an A for effort though! Btw, their healthcare system is ancient.. they seriously needs some improvement in technology.. The people are great, though..”

“This place has excellent doctors and people at the front desk are always nice and willing to help in any needs. They take really good care of each patient and also is very affordable! I highly recommend this clinic because they pay attention to each patient! We did a lot of exams and they follow up the following week for results! Happy to be their patient!”

“I've had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Rosenstein, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. In just one visit, he identified, diagnosed, and helped me with issues I've had most of my life--issues that my previous doctor of 10 years never once addressed. My previous doctor ran a practice that felt more like a factory, where patients were rotated through with strict time limits and caps on the number of issues you could discuss. In stark contrast, Dr. Rosenstein takes all the time he needs to listen and understand his patients. His respectful and attentive approach makes all the difference. I trust Dr. Rosenstein implicitly, so much so that I now have my wife and daughter under his care as well. His dedication and expertise have significantly improved my quality of life, allowing me to start truly enjoying it again. If you're looking for a medical provider who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond, Dr. Rosenstein is the doctor you need.”
