Worker didn’t let us pick up our pre ordered game before 9 so we went a little after so there wouldn’t be a line. they “closed” at 9:30 and we got there at 9:35. they still didn’t want us to get our preordered game.

Giving the benefit of the doubt it may not have been the employees and could have been somebody that had been in there just prior BUT I happened to stop in on the way to work to pick up a couple of things and the whole room just reeked of marijuana. There were two employees and a manager-type assaying the place there and I really /S appreciated the sudden contact high on the way to work. Talk about keeping it professional. I find it ironic that some of these kinds of people would look down on suffering addicts on the side of the road yet cannot curtail their vices long enough to keep it away from work. Youre all just a paycheck away from being in the same position. Im all for people doing whatever they want: whatever drug or psychonauting or whatever but at least take the responsibility, in that case, to keep it to yourself. Considering all this maybe grow up and have some professionalism.

This place was very nice & had a lot of items there. I bought a switch, and a few games, and this guy named Richard helped me and my boyfriend with everything! He seems very passionate and outgoing about his job and you don’t see that very often anymore. I don’t usually go to GameStop but if I ever do again, I’ll go here!! Thank you so much Richard & rock on!!! - Nikki

I went to the store on Arroyo Crossing Pkwy on 06/25 at 11:56am. Website said it would open at 12pm and the store hours sign said 12pm. I waited thinking that they will come maybe 10 mins or 15 mins late, which I was okay with, but I waited a whole two hours and nothing. It is my daughters birthday and she absolutely loves Pokemon. I bought a set that was on special and surprise her with it because it's the day I had off and I am not able to surprise her this weekend. I couldn't cancel the order because the deal was limited time and the refund would take too long.I was not the only one there waiting, a few people waited, families came and looked confused, and they stayed there to see if anyone will come to open the store. I know it seems silly, but for people that work multiple jobs, time is very limited. On top of that, manager was not sympathetic or understanding the frustration. Stating "she is aware and that was yesterday." I understand that it's really not your problem, but at least pretend.

I wanted to go to Walmart and Game Stop, we arrived at GameStop first at 12:18 and it was closed. It said on the door Sunday Open at 12:00 PM. So then we went to Walmart looked at stuff and then back to Game Stop at 12:38 and it’s still closed. Whoever was hired to open up the store should be fired.

More then average gamestop. They actually have good stuff at this location. I was able to grab all the cowboy bebop pop figures at this location. They had so many other anime and game related items that I could never find at other locations.

Does this location actually ever answer the phone? Tried multiple times today and not a single answer. Gamestop wonders why it's getting such bad rep and tanking. If it wasn't for Hunter on Blue Diamond I would be done with Gamestop entirely.

This locations service has continued to go downhill which is unfortunate as I used to frequent this location and enjoyed the conversations. I attempted to pick up some Pokémon cards today and saw there was a sale posted. When I got up to the counter the item didn’t ring up on sale and malakye didn’t know when the sale ended and also failed to remove the sales signs from the store. I asked if they would honor the sale and he refused stating that the date was posted on the sign (referring to the fine print at the bottom). I then needed to cancel a pre-order on midnight suns to which he responded “ugh, a turned based card game! I’m not sure why they even made that!”For anyone looking for a GameStop with good customer service, I highly recommend going a little bit farther down to north rainbow instead.

Hands down I just received the worse customer service I've ever experienced. I made a call to the Arroyo GameStop looking for a Xbox Series X controller. Richard answered the phone and said they didn't have the controller that I was looking for in stock. I asked him if any other locations have it. His very short response was I don't know. Then I asked can't you look it up on your computer. He responded by saying oh yeah. In less then 10 seconds he came back and said no other location has it. This entire interaction with Richard felt short, rude and unprofessional. I proceeded to call the Blue Diamond location and Hunter answered the phone. He informed me that they had the controller in stock. I was surprised by that because Richard said no other location had it. Then I asked Hunter if the Arroyo location had the controller. He politely looked it up and said they had a couple over there. I told Hunter about Richard's poor customer service and that I was on my way to Arroyo. By the way Hunter has great communication and was very professional. When I arrived at the GameStop on Arroyo there was three employees there. Two had name tags on and one didn't. This made me assume that Hunter must have called Richard to tell him I was on the way to his location. Amanda the manager greeted me and asked how she could help me. As soon as I told her which controller I was looking for the employee with no name tag on looked at the third employee and cringed. Amanda found the controller I was looking for instantly. Then I asked if Richard was there. Amanda responded and said that he wasn't there. I said that's interesting because I just called 15 minutes ago and he was here. Then I asked who is Richard? Amanda responded by saying she didn't have to give out employee information. While Amanda was ringing me up I asked her if all employees are supposed to wear name tags. She said yes. While I was waiting for Amanda to finish our transaction the employee with no name tag said I thought you were talking about a different controller. This couldn't be the case because I clearly stated which brand and type of controller I was looking for. Obviously Richard didn't look for it at his store or any other store as he claimed he did. This entire situation was uncalled for. Richard took his name tag off because he knew he messed up by lying to me over the phone. All he had to do was take two minutes to see if my controller was in stock. He got caught in a lie. Amanda also lied by saying Richard wasn't there. I'm currently a General Manager at a well know restaurant on the strip. If any of my employees or managers treated our customers the way that I was just treated. They would be written up and coached immediately! All I asked was if a controller was in stock. I'll be filing a complaint about Richard and Amanda to corporate. After my warranty is up on my controller I'll never set foot in a GameStop again.
