According to the Noel from Wells Fargo I was charged the amount. And the fault was the merchant ends due to lack of updated equipment and my end it was paid for and to be threatened by management for them call the police on me because I was proven them wrong and if I wasn’t charged why would they give me my money back as a refund

Goodwill industries used to be a great place to find clothing and household items at very good prices. I used to buy mens jeans for $4, and tshirts for $1 or $2, and so on. They claim to be a friend of the communities their stores are located in. I felt that was accurate at that time. Over the past 7 or 8 years, the prices at Goodwill have steadily gone up, to the point that now, at the Eastern ave store, their mens jeans are tagged at $19.00. These aren't some expensive label, they're Lee and Levis. Their button down shirts are $8.99 and up. These are USED items, no one knows how long they have been used before. And in addition, they receive all of these items completely FREE, Donations. They have a Non Profit status, which I think needs to be addressed. They may not show a profit, but the district managers and so forth are making in the 6 figure yearly salaries, they are growing their company as fast as possible all under the guide of a community non profit store.
When you go in the store, you get a distinct impression they look at their customers like they're all shoplifting, and are very rude. They take forever to check out, slow long lines are typical. And they have moved on to claim being a assistance to job seekers. This business is NOT a friend of the community, when they get donated free clothing, and mark it up to sky high prices that you sometimes can buy brand new at WalMart for less than their price, that is not a friend of the community. They pay their management and corporate people salaries equal or higher than for profit businesses, meanwhile they pay their workers *shit. It's a typical corporate-like employer, clever to show no profit, but believe me, they are making profit and it's going in their pockets. This is NOT a friend of the community, they are taking advantage of the communities. And people are beginning to see that. Goodwill needs to have their non profit status removed.

I only came here for the 50% off sale, since it actually brings prices down to lower than you can find on sale. Still with the 50% off discount today, they're selling used panties for the same price I can find them new. Does anyone else find that kind of disgusting? For used panties...

Women who “helped” me and my friend at the fitting rooms was so rude and passive aggressive towards us. We tried on some clothes and she basically yelled at us to get out when we were still getting dressed. If you’re coming to this goodwill don’t plan on getting to try on any clothes in peace.

I went into this location specifically for scarves & pashminas. the way they have those items tagged prevents you from trying them on, because they’re folded. so, i spent much time carefully selecting the ones i wanted, so far i was 2 out of 3 for the ones i wanted. i kept the tags neat & proper, i wasn’t up to any funny business. i guess an associate saw me & instead of talking to me, brought a manager up to me who took the scarves from me because they cant sell items with no tags. i wasnt in there for more than 5 minutes standing in the same spot under the same camera looking at the scarves. they would not make an exception even when i offered to buy all 3 of the ones i’d taken tags off of. even if i was up to funny business the store would have still made the same amount of money if i bought all 3. & i had full intention to buy more. i walked in with a $40 budget for scarves. i walked out with $40 & no scarves. i was explained the no-tag policy which i can completely understand but for how ridiculously innocent the situation was & how i had full intent to spend my hard earned money on used scarves, the fact they would not make an exception is pathetic. boooo.

Was told one thing when I was shopping and wasn’t able to do what I was told. Managers were very rude. I had to basically leave the store with items I didn’t want. No tags was removed nor was items ever taken out the bag. I was informing management what I was told. And they basically looked at me like they didn’t care. If I knew I couldn’t return items I would’ve kept my money and never bought in the first place. Never had this issue with goodwill till I entered this specific location

I wanted to purchase a jacket for my daughter- she was playing with it and pulled the tag off on accident. When I got to the counter they advised me I could not purchase the item since the tag wasn’t attached and I would have to come back tomorrow to try to find it. Seems kind of excessive? The managers should be able to price that day. Every other thrift store I got to is able to - I won’t be returning tomorrow to maybe find it.

Cashier was rude ! She scanned a blanket ,I had a item in my hand asked her to scan it so I can wrap it in my blanket that she just scanned , she took the blanket put it in the bag with other items ontop of it (they items were 3 cast iron trivets!), when she scanned the item I asked her too she took it from me and said I'll just put it between the blanket and continued to pile the rest of the items ON TOP of the most fragile expensive item I had purchased. I had only had a certain amount of cash so I had to transfer funds appolgised to the cashier who then proceeded to tap her fingers on the counter! I asked her if I was taking to long for her ! I don't care if you think the items we purchase have no value to it , we are paying our hard earned money for these items . If you are unhappy with your job find a new one . This all took place today around 2:26 pm cashier closest to the pictures you know who you are ! And I hope you learn better customer service skills amd how to treat people kindly.

This location has a lot of really cool stuff, an awesome selection of furniture, too! I found it to also be really clean! The employees seemed to be happy and like they were having a good time, which I think is awesome. I love seeing people talking and joking around at work. I met Marco at the cash register and let me tell you he was such a sweetheart. We got talking because I’m new to the area and he was telling me about himself and his family from Baja. I have been so impressed with Henderson so far because so many people are just so friendly here, but Marco was definitely one of my favorite people I’ve met. He was kind, genuine, and his ambition to continue his education and keep working is so awesome. This location did it right with their staffing and it was such a pleasant experience. I live local and I’m so glad!! ?

Was driving around looking at various goodwills for some treasures, after nothing at 3 other ones, I stopped here, and found this majestic old map!! It's from the 1990s, but so detailed and beautiful. It is legit gold foil, and goes online for 200-400$, I got it for 25$!! I am so happy with this find. It's hard to find good deals and true treasures at places like this nowadays since it's so popular, but every now and again you get something cool. Happy hunting!! ✨️
