The house special rice was excellent and I only paid $9.75...a fair price for so much food. I was able to get two meals from that single order.

Great service. They always make me feel comfortable here when I come inside to order. Sauces cost extra, but they have an assortment of good ones to choose from. Hot mustard, sweet and sour, Housin, La-Yu.

Food here is really good and not over priced. The portions are a nice for the price. The staff are nice and friendly. I travel to Las Vegas twice a year for work, I always come here two or three times for lunch with my crew while I'm here.

I don’t know what happened to this place recently but the quality of their food has been pretty bad. I ordered a chicken and broccoli yesterday and the chicken tasted undercooked and looked very white, usually it looks brownish when I order it. They used to accept my order for chicken with broccoli with garlic sauce and recently they said that don’t know what that is. It feels like they have had an owner change of sorts and the quality plummeted. Sadly, I won’t be returning here anymore and I’ll have to find another chinese food takeout spot.

Should you come across this corner cuisine along Maryland Parkway. Consider it a treasure find for authentic China food tasting. Conveniently located near the Las Vegas SunRise Hospital. The plaza itself seems oddly quiet with seldom parking lot cluster. Like a stage-town marketplace in old west. Perhaps because the area resides along the small twilight vortex between busy downtown and the famous Las Vegas Boulevard. Alluding to a peaceful transitional purgatory. Quite fitting for being in a town called Paradise. Although anyone who spends their entire life in any paradise might be perceived as imprisonment. Nonetheless I believe that prisons and paradise serve authentic experiences unlike anything in the outside world. The reason I ordered the number 21 potsticker meal. Remembering the Asian movie Old Man. Based on a man imprisoned 20 years who was only fed potstickers 3 meals a day. Everything in the restaurant brought a sense of authenticity. Even the traditional non eye contact between kitchen chef and his patrons. Just before concluding our transaction the chef and I looked up at one another.Although no words were exchanged we both instantly felt the undeniable sense of Buddhist Deja Vu. As if we had crossed paths in another lifetime. Perhaps somewhere between a prison and paradise.
