As we entered the salon Sylvia was complaining saying she needed a 10 min break which the other girl said you always need a 10 min break so I believe she just didn’t want to cut anymore hair. We went to get our kids hair cut for a commercial they are in and Sylvia said she doesn’t brush the kids hair before a haircut. I said I’ve been here before and they have always brushed it first. She tried to say our daughter’s hair had knots which she just got out of the shower. I said I had a brush in the car and she said she had one and handed hers to me. I brushed our daughter’s hair like any mother would since she was too lazy to do it and as I walked away she asked my daughter if she was ok? Which Chloe said yeah and looked confused. I then said is there a problem and she said I brushed her hair aggressively. My daughter didn’t cry nor flinch nor did it hurt at all as it wasn’t matted like she insinuated. I said you are out of line and trying to say I’m abusing our daughter by simply brushing her hair to which she then tried to say I physically grabbed the brush out of her hand which wasn’t true and I told her to roll the tapes. I am a loving mother of 3 kids and I have never even spanked any of my children. The way this lady tried to insinuate I was hurting my daughter was totally out of line. Then lied and said I grabbed the brush when she knew she had 0 legs to stand on she made up lies. She then refused the service and I gladly walked out and told her she was a nasty old lady. I truly feel sorry for her and her customer service is absolutely awful. Do not engage with this women around your children. She has 0 disregard for her disrespectful mouth in front of innocent little kids. I will not be returning here and we always loved this salon before our experience with her.

I went to southern highland great clips. I had checked in on line but when I arrived there the woman with station right behind cash register first chair told me I was not checked in then showed her my phone and still acted like it was my fault and treated me horrible. Said she would put me in now and I would be number 4 when I looked at screen it said 40 minutes I asked her if I would be waiting 40 minutes and she ignored me I then asked her 3 more times and still ignored me I then said stop ignoring me may I have a answer please she slowly walked over to the screen then said yes. I have been a customer there for 6 years always gave 30 percent or more tip. Never been treated so disrespectly. You just lost 2 adult customers. Will not come back again either my wife or I. This happened around 8:45 to 9 am July 6th.

I got my hair done there about a month ago. I have growing hair from when I shaved it. I asked to get a trim to do more hairstyles but I also requested to have layers. Boths times I asked while my hair was being cut, the stylist said no because I don’t need layers to do hair styles with my hair. Been trying to do different hair styles ideas for my hair type and length and I can’t do ANY of them because the ones I like require layers and my hair won’t sit right since it’s all one length. I wish I had layers from that cut, idk why she didn’t do them when I told her 2-3 times I wanted them :(

Don't go this store!!! I wish I was taking a look the google reviews before I went to this store today! Congratulations, you guys got one more 1 star reviews.The workers over there are so disorganized and careless on their part .I have been asked to fill out the form in a incredibly rude way and after that they just lost the fill and ask me all the information again. The lady in the picture walked this way was the one throw me the form then disappeared for a while, another lady yellow hair is throw away the form ask me repeat the question again, and she did my daughter's haircut today finish in 5 mins , for sure my daughter's hair still wet when we walked out the door. I will never ever go back here again.

Checked in on the App...Waited 25 minutes for the text. Arrived at store, was number 1 on the list. They called 5 other people before me and I walked out. Terrible Service.

I have been a regular customer of Great Clips since last year. Unfortunately I had had good experiences until today 2/16/2025. I went with my babies and clearly announced that they would be the clients. On other occasions we had already gone with them and they cut their hair with us in the chairs. This time, after waiting for 20 minutes, we were denied that possibility. Apart from the fact that the customer service was not very empathetic, none of the people who were working even commented on it. So we understood that we were not welcome. Today they not only lost two clients, but 4 adult clients.

Every time I come here I have a good experience. This gal did a great job handling my sleepy son. Definitely deserves recognition.
Also the check in process is pretty spot on.
Can usually chill at the house and then leave when the notification comes through and we’re next up by the time we walk in

The absolute worst customer service. Sue was one of the rudest people I have ever met. I tip $10-20 every time I come in. Never again.

Southern highlands location… Walked in and checked in for a 45 minute wait. After an hour, was told it would be another hour wait because we never checked in online. They had another man even walk in with one online check in and two others with him that weren’t online check ins and all of them were taken before us. VERY RUDE! After that we walked out.

We brought Joyce Nehlsen my 86 year old Mother in Law in today for a cut/shampoo/blow dry and I have to say Sue did an amazing job. She was very kind and my MIL is extatic about her hair. Thank you Sue we appreciate you!

The lady who greeted me was kinda rude, the lady who cut my hair didn't bother saying a word to me aside from asking what I wanted to get and if it looked good. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and while she got the skin fade correct, she didn't seem to acknowledge the length of the hair in the picture because when she "finished" my hair was still way too long. I even asked her what she recommended since it was still somewhat long and she said "I don't know it's your hair, I thought it was short enough but I guess not". And on top of that I tried showing her where id like my hard part at and she cuts it way lower than were I asked. I'm more than likely not coming back to this location. Waist of time and money honestly.
