Absolutely the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. I reserved a budget-friendly car at the Hertz desk inside Wynn Las Vegas. After waiting 25 minutes in line, the associate (Laura) told me the car I reserved wasn’t available. I politely asked for any vehicle in the same budget range and was told I’d have to go to the airport instead. When I explained I had a lunch reservation, she snapped that the only car she had was a Mercedes and “she couldn’t give it to me for free.”
I never asked for anything free—just the car I reserved. She then raised her voice at me and my wife in front of other guests, saying “Why don’t you people understand I don’t have any cars?” Her comments were belittling and discriminatory (which I recorded), and other guests even stepped in to correct her behavior. A supervisor eventually sent her on break, but the damage was done.
When a vehicle finally arrived from another location, it was filthy and unsanitary, with stains and what appeared to be vomit inside. I returned it before 6 PM the same day.
Between the disrespect, discrimination, and unacceptable car condition, Hertz at Wynn should be avoided at all costs. After reading more reviews, I see my experience was not unique.

Carlota was the employee to greet me when I returned the car to this location. I have rented a car from Hertz almost every week from the Las Vegas location for the past three years. Never before have I had met an employee so rude, condescending, and apathetic towards a customer. Hertz should be ashamed to have someone like this representing their brand

Do not go here. Waited in line for 30 minutes only to find out that they did not have the car I reserved. The attendant easily could have told us they had no vehicles while we were waiting there. Never got a call back after I was told a vehicle would be ready in an hour or two. Extremely unhelpful and unfriendly service.

Had a reservation booked to rent a car for my brother's home coming from the navy. They processed to run full on credit check on my debit card just to hand me a peace of paper from sme infax place saying they can't rent to me. Apparently no credit card no rental. Not everybody in this world with money is tied up to sme random credit card. I ended up using turo and got a car the sme day

Terrible experience…. I booked this location to rent a car it was the first option that popped up, I got a confirmation email. Upon arriving the lady was on her lunch so we waited once she returned she had major attitude and stated that they don’t open until 2 which was obvious since there was a sign stating that. She attended us but couldn’t find my booking so she said “that’s okay let me see if I can accommodate you” okay awesome. Later on she found my booking and said I booked it too last minute and that there was still 7 more bookings that booked there’s earlier and she only had 4 keys. Which is understandable but why even say “let me see if I can accommodate you” or why even confirm the booking. Makes no sense. Later that week I get charged a “no show fee”. Extremely stupid I would say because I’m pretty sure I was there :) I can tell she was treating us differently than others. We weren’t dressed the nicest as we had just arrived to Vegas. Whoever that employee is deserves 0 stars in all honesty. Make sure to treat others how you would like to get treated.

I would have gave the Wynn hertz location a 5 star due to the staff (excellent) although I had to give this review a 4 star due to difficulty finding the location!!

The worst car rental place ever the black dude at the front with the accent thanks this is his car is his establishment. He has the worst attitude. You can let him know that the insurance paid for the front windshield that had the crack in it if you drive jeeps you know that they’re notorious for getting the windshield cracked. I was driving on the interstate in a rock flew up and hit the window. What happened it cracked. I’m sorry you think I was meant for that to have you think I wanted that to happen and the attitude that I got from that guy was just really ridiculous. I will never rent a car from you guys again he needs to be fired But just let him know that the windshield was approved by my insurance and they are taking care of it also you guys kept my deposit for no reason Never rent a car from here it will be a nightmare

Lady working the desk was too busy on her cell phone to even acknowledge us when we arrived. She could not give us any answers to questions we had about the car despite being assured when wet booked the car that they would be able to assist and show us his to use features in the car (first time with an EV). She said that was up to is to know how to work everything. Sent us out to find cart without telling us exactly where it was just directed us to the hertz area and then we had to walk around using the key fob to locate the car. They also do not advise you there is an extra $20 concession fee to pick cars up stood location. Also charged a $53 fee to charge the vehicle from 35% to 75% which is outrageous ( at the charger at the hotel it would have cost about $25) unfortunately we did not have time to charge before returning due to unforeseen circumstances.

Thanks to all these comments and reviews I was able to get me out of this company on time. I had a reservation with them because Hertz usually has good reviews and costumer service, but suddenly I decided to take a look at the address that I suppose to pick-up the car and I've got myself reading all these scary reviews from everyone. After reading carefully pretty much all of them I took the decision to cancel my reservation even before picking up the car.
I made a new reservation with Enterprise at airport, which I didn't know this company up to this moment (someone mentioned it before) so I looked at the reviews and they're all amazing, so even paying a bit more, I chose them and had an outstanding costumer service and quality car.
Again, thank you!! REALLY!

Worst Hertz branch I’ve ever been to.
Only one staff member was working, and she was also handling bookings for two other rental companies at the same time. She was extremely rude and unprofessional.
When I simply asked why the deposit was $500 instead of the $200 stated on the website, she laughed and said,
“Oh, have you ever traveled before? You have to pay a deposit.”
That kind of sarcasm is completely unacceptable.
There are already so many bad reviews about this location—you seriously need to either shut this branch down or send better-trained staff, especially when operating in a 5-star hotel environment.
