I would like to offer a high recommendation for Jessica, who works at the W. Sahara Location in las Vegas. She was delightful, professional and took care of everything for my first time rental. THANK YOU Jessica! Hertz should be proud to have you as an employee!

Horrible experience with Hertz and the Uber program!
I had to return my Tesla on Saturday morning because it had a dangerous mechanical failure (a very loud noise).
The office staff was rude, grumpy and totally useless. Instead of solving the problem and changing my car (which is their obligation under the Uber program), they simply refused and sent me home without a vehicle.
I am now losing my Saturday and Sunday earnings because of his incompetence and bad attitude. They don't care that you need the car to work. Do not rent here if you depend on the vehicle to live.

I made a reservation for a Tesla Model 3 a month in advance, thinking that would guarantee a smooth experience. I was wrong. When I arrived at 8:50 AM for my 9:00 AM reservation, the small waiting area was already packed, mostly Uber drivers from what I could tell, and not one employee seemed interested in helping anyone in a timely manner. Every single agent was having issues. I sort of felt sorry for them because the Uber drivers were less patient than I was (I get it that’s their job time is money).
After waiting over 20 minutes, a red-headed employee (who wasn’t wearing a name tag and didn’t bother introducing herself) finally called me up. She couldn’t find my reservation until I showed her the confirmation email. Once she located it, she confirmed it was indeed for a Tesla Model 3, then sighed, clearly annoyed, and said she’d have to “see if they could get it out of the garage” because it was blocked in by other cars.
Ten minutes later, she came back and told me the car was unavailable because the previous customer took the key home. Seriously? What kind of operation allows that to happen? Most professional rental companies have secure drop boxes and procedures to prevent this kind of incompetence or a spare key? I’m not sure how the customer parked the car in the garage anyway, but after about a total 45 minute wait I was not prepared to debate these matters. I asked the lady how she was going to fix my problem, which really wasn’t my problem it was their problem and they made it mine.
I asked how long the wait might be, since my wife and I were heading to California for a three-day trip and chose the Tesla specifically to save on gas. She said the “manager would call other locations” and that someone would “get back to me.” Based on the chaos in that lobby and the number of frustrated people around me, I’m guessing that call will never come, it’s 11:30 AM and I’m already in California with a rental from Enterprise next door.
The customer service at this location is absolutely abysmal. They appear to prioritize Uber drivers over regular customers — which is fine if that’s their business model, but maybe they should be upfront about it. If you’re just a regular renter, prepare to be treated like an afterthought.
If there were a rating lower than zero, this location would earn it. It’s clear that customer service no longer matters here, and this experience only reinforces that sad reality. Thankfully, the Enterprise next door, while unable to provide a Tesla at least treated me with basic respect and offered alternatives, something this location clearly hasn’t mastered. Hertz didn’t even offer an alternative she just had me write my phone number on a piece of paper and said she would call when something became available. I’m sorry for the owner of this place. This is not how you run a business my man.

Closed early and didn't honor my prepaid rental. Had to take Uber to work, asked hertz to refund and compensate me with a small discount code or promo. They gave me some ai mumbo jumbo. Avoid this location, they don't care about you.
