Do my own services but let's talk about home depot ... went in to buy a water heater once I found an employee to help he and another guy did load it on a cart for me the other guy (no home depot apron or anything to show he worked there) walked next to me to help me push the cart to the checkout (kind of weird pushing the cart together) then he asked me if I needed help loading it into my car I said \\\"idk is it heavy\\\" he looked at me funny and walked away... I checked out pushed the cart outside (by myself this time) walked past two employees outside no one offered any assistance... in the end this 62 year old woman was able to load the 109lb water heater into my car by myself.

Biggest rip off store there is. Special ordered a patio door & it came damaged. Paid for install & it also was a complete shit job. Home depot refuses to refund so I can hire a proper company. Currently going thru the steps to get my money back.

In August I purchased a Ruvati Stainless sink from Home Depot I have no complaint about Home Depot they were very professional, Ruvati Sinks are a completely different story they should change the name of customer care to customer care doesn't care. After 3 or 4 phone calls explaining that the finish was wearing off in 1 spot all we got back was laying blame on me, I have had numerous stainless sinks never a problem Ruvat kept saying we were cleaning the sink wrong we used the product they recommended which we were using before they told us about it. I called again and asked for a supervisor was told all supervisor's were in a meeting but the would call back same day (what lie) no call next day I did get a supervisor told me same thing my fault. I would never recommend this company TERRIBLE TERRIBLE.

Cheryl from the paint department was awesome! I came in with a small piece from my chipped wall today and the color I had thought was the same, she looked at them and saw it wasn't the same color. And color matched the paint. I felt I was close but she was spot on! She was soo nice and knowledgeable of what she is doing. Thanks Cheryl you are awesome!

It's sad. Back in the day you can come to Home Depot or Lowe's to ask questions about home improvement and they would actually be helpful. Now when you ask questions they just stare or have an attitude or even pass you in to another employee who also have no idea what they're doing. Some are nice some need some work. Figure out your employees cause theyre costing you customers.

The employees are young and apathetic. Doing the bare minimum. Actually, the bare minimum is too high of a standard for them. Verbally called at two attendants, I know they heard me because they turned around but kept walking away to avoid having to help a customer. Had to beg other employees to cut blinds for me. It's a CHORE finding help here.

Inept!!!! EVERY time we try to give this paint department a shot, they live up to the horrible customer service they're known by!! The best thing about coming to them is this. When you're at a dinner party and need to tell stories about what people pass off as customer service but ironically isn't customer service. This store will provide you legends and tales that people will wonder if it's really true. ... but it is! Do yourself a favor. Trust me. My favorite part about them is this. I emailed their store manager once. Gave him a list of "what we found that is great here" (electrician and plumber service) and the bad. It was professional and his response?!?!?! Quote the raven, "never more!" What kind of professionalism is that? It isn't! And thus the problem!! The paint department is a reflection of its leadership ...

Our water heater went out on New Years day at 8am. After fighting with the home warranty people for 3 days we decided to just buy a water heater and put it in. Ordered it at HD online to pick up at S. Lamb store. When I went to pick it up they refused to give it to me. Said I had to wait for one to be shipped to the store in 2 weeks. They had the exact water heater in stock. I explained my situation and why I couldn't wait 2 weeks. The manager of the store told me that they had nothing to do with online HD. Again, I explained we had already been without hot water for 5 days and she screamed at me that it wasn't her problem and she couldn't do anything about it unless I wanted to shell out another $800 to buy the product from her store. I went to Lowes, explained to that manager what happened at HD and he felt bad enough to sell me a water heater at employee cost and gave me an extended warranty for free. I will never step foot in this Home Depot again.

The cashier staff is poorly trained if at all. To allow the kiosk to ask if we want a receipt, then before we can press yes, the cashier prints the receipt. We I asked Brittany, she said that it automatically goes to that email. A lie. She just wanted to get rid of the customer. If one uses a new or renewed credit card, the system requires new email entry. Now, one has to wait in line again at customer service, call a manager and have them manually send you that copy. Lowes might be a better alternative until the staff Home depot either listens to customers or they become educated.
