Bait and switch. They advertised $89 to file taxes, so I made an appointment, they never mentioned any other cost, I get through the appointment and at the end they say it’s going to cost $795. Definition of false advertising.

I went to two tax preparers and neither of them were willing to take the time to explain why I was getting 100$ refund in person but when I did it online with the same H&R platform it showed me a 1000$ refund. I went back to get help and the second master tax preparer did not try to work through the numbers with me or explain anything. I went back in a 3rd time and sat with Edith, she was amazing and actually took the time to show me on my tax forms why I was getting different numbers online. She broke it down, explained it and was very friendly. She took the extra step to help me and make sure I got an accurate refund. I highly recommend you go to Edith she is the best tax preparer Ive have ever had.
