Katina was assigned to me, and started off great. I submitted my docs that I had for 2020 and 2021, and she was responsive. Then her communication started to slow down, which was fine because she told me she filed an extension and it was the busiest time of year for her so I expected that. Then May comes, after tax season, so I expected her to be on top of things. I get a call from her saying she’s almost done with my taxes and to expect a call in the next few days. Now it’s been months and I still haven’t heard from her. She’s not returning my emails or calls. Even went in to her location to see if she was in, the woman working there told me Katina wasn’t in. Who knows if that’s true or not. Extremely unprofessional and now is costing me a ton of money in interest. I would never recommend using HRblock or Katina, please save yourself the money, time, and headache.

I’m still very new to filing my taxes, but my last experience with H&R Block with Kathy Apfel was terrible. I had to do it through their app/over the phone since I’ve been dealing with a illness and it was difficult to come in person. Kathy seemed irritated, charged me over $500, and made mistakes that caused me to file late, even though I kept asking and confirming that we were on the same page with everything. Kathy said if there are any fees or consequences when I hear back from the IRS that she would refund me for her mistake. She said it could take up to 6 months before I’ll see the change. I still haven’t heard or seen the change show up from the IRS. I’m just completely lost on what to do now and fear the consequences I’ll receive because of it. Zero stars ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Pretty much the worst experience I have ever had doing my taxes. I would never suggest H&R Block's services. Their customer service is probably the worst I have ever dealt with. I could write a book on how much I hate them. If there was a negative number I could give you I would. 0 does not do justice to how much I loathe their company.
