We tried to visit but it’s not at this address anymore. The sign was there but the store was empty. Maybe it moved?

Review for AAPI month. Aren't we always in the mood to support minority owned local small businesses? Yes, but there's something American holiday-esque and addicting about designated months to binge watch Netflix's AAPI section or overuse slogans like "representation matters" ....then suddenly we crave Pocky sticks, Japanese Kit-Kats and chocolate mushrooms and black sugar walnuts and are extra glad to be here. For one, we're supporting a mom and pop and two, bonus, we're finding munchies from Japan we can't find at the other Asian specialty stores in LV. The hindsight is that Japan pumps out so many snacks to choose from (and this is only out of what's available to the US) so international retailers have a sweet spot where they can mesmerize unbeknownst consumers with items even the enthusiasts haven't seen before. Or bog us down with the same old same old, which is usually Pocky sticks and Kit-Kats. Hahaha. Love the stuff ;). Oh, extra extra bonus, they have Hawaiian-local-Japanese snacks too. NOW are we glad they added the PI onto the AA?

Very small market, family owned and great selection of rental DVD's in the back! Fresh food, majority dry items such as ramen, curry etc. Almost like a convience store, easy in and easy out!

Tiny but well-stocked store with a great selection of quality Japanese goods. The fresh bakery items at the checkout counter are really tasty. I'll definitely be back!

Wonderful people. Family owned. I feel good spending my money in this shop. I know that my money goes to helping a family business. The product quality is always perfect. Good variety, surprised that such a small store has so many things . "Go To" for best food to stock up on your basic Japanese food staples/needs. But the UDON Noodle BIG pack in the frozen section. Its a SUPER bargin. Also has a very small section of gift items and trinkets.

Cute little shop for an adventure. The 2 ladies I saw in there working were very nice and even recommended some snacks!

Mood - specific candies Upon entering it is a smaller location. However each of the shelves are lined with items that are not at your local grocery. Everything was very well organized and lined up in orderly fashion. Even items that are in cold case. I have specific snacks and candies that I grew up on that I honestly love. This store carried them. Can we say, I was in snack paradise. Don't judge. Lol Would recommend- pricing was reasonable. If you have any questions or are looking for something very specific they will answer your questions with ease. Everything was very clean. Credit cards are accepted for anything over $10.00 if you use debit there is an additional charge of .35 cents. Location is Flamingo/ Arville- ample parking

I was very grateful for the Japan Mini Mart recently. I wanted some shiso leaf and yuzu juice. I unsuccessfully checked the larger Asian grocery stores that sometimes have shiso leaf, but knew I would need to go somewhere else for yuzu juice. I stopped by Japan Mini Mart because it was nearby and I was able to pick up these items as well as a few other Japanese items that the general Asian Markets don't carry. True to the name, Japan Mini Mart is very small. As such, the variety and amount of products is rather limited...though they are able relatively to cram a lot in that little space. I truly appreciate it being here, but will probably only be back for convenience, as there are other options in town with larger selections. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful, leaving me with wishes for their success, and wondering if Vegas might someday have the demand for a larger Japanese market like Mitsuwa or Nijiya...probably not anytime soon...but here's to hoping!

I loved this small market. And it is small. But it has things that you just don't see at the Asian mega markets. I was looking for packets to make quick and easy Japanese cucumber pickles. I found them here (and way cheaper than on Amazon - where I had previously bought them). At check out, I started talking about making pickles and the very nice lady showed me a packet to do cabbage pickles. And she said what she used at home was a liquid product. I never would have found these. The people in the store are very friendly - even to people, like me, who love food and don't know how to make favorite dishes. I highly recommend this store. And, if you don't see what you are looking for, be sure to ask. You might find more than you expect!
