This Macys (@meadows mall) is hands down the worst in Vegas. It doesn't have a great selection of anything. Doesn't carry all the brands that we are used to at this location.

So this is what has become of Macy's at Meadows Mall? It's a no wonder Macy's is having to close their stores left and right. I imagine this store is headed that way as well and it will be the result of staff like Evelyn and Manager Chanell that cause their own demise. What once was a shopper's paradise with helpful staff and management has become a very unwelcoming experience. The only ray of sunlight was a tall, thin gentleman with a neat fro hairstyle and dressed nicely who was dashing around straightening apparel, while politely helping customers. The other staff in apparel looked disgusted and worn down even though they had just started their day. Can't imagine what their demeanor was like by noon. We started our shopping early morning making a large purchase in the apparel department. When we got up to checkout we were met with a very curt, "Are you ready?", proceded by "Phone number?", proceeded by "Email?" There was absolutely no courtesy whatsoever. No, "How are you?", or "Did anyone assist you today?", or "Did you find what you were looking for?" Macy's used to keep their flyers or discount cards at the desk to scan as a courtesy for Macy's customers who lost or forgot their coupon. I asked about this and was met with a presumptive, "You'd have to apply for a Macy's card!" to which I replied, "We already have a Macy's card!" Once we completed our transaction there was no, "Thank you for shopping at Macy's" or "Thank you for your business." Evelyn just proceded to hand us our purchase. Upon asking Evelyn who the store manager was she became very animated and now wanted to explain that she was attaching a coupon for savings that begin on Monday. Unfortunately Evelyn's somewhat attempt at being curteous came too little too late. I had to pry the manager's name out of a very defiant Evelyn. I asked her where Nikki was and she replied, "Downstairs somewhere." I went downstairs and requested Manager Nikki, but was met with Chanell who explained she was the manager. I thought it odd that she wore no badge or identification to signify that she was a manager. She was a short stout Phillipino woman with very pronounced fake eyelashes. I only know her name because I had to ask her for it after she tried to pasify me by talking in circles about their point rewards while fluttering the fake eyelashes and putting on a very disingenuous act. I had to redirect her as to the actual issue which was the customer service. Ultimately her attempts at patronizing me to try to seem genuine was the straw that broke the camels back. I let her know that if this is what has become of Macy's and the type of service they provide that they have lost our business, to which she shrugged and went on her way. Interesting that Chanell nor Evelyn realize it's paying customers like us that keep Macy's in business. Maybe it will occur to them when more customers take their business elsewhere and this store goes under just like several others. I just feel badly for the one employee, the ray of sunlight mentioned earlier in this post, that did demonstrate customer service excellence. It will be unfortunate for service oriented employees like him, that the Evelyns and Channels cause loss of revenue and further store closures due to their poor attitudes!

The worse experience at checkout first there are no cashiers at the register when I finally find one I am told to go to the men section to cash out there and of course I already check and is no body there I told them that and I was told to ask for one around there or just wait by the register I go back to the register on the men’s department and I just get looks from employees but no assistance until I in a loud voice I ask for an employee only then someone says they will get someone to help me the cashier that assisted me was nice and apologized for the behavior of the cashier that kick me out of her line is just upsetting that the only way to get help is by acting mean
