Store is cool but the little food shop in there can never seem to make food. Today they decided to not thaw out the meat to prepare food. Probably need some new employees and probably management.

I am at this store nearly daily. Some days, I stop in two or three times per day. I appreciate that the store is clean and neat. I appreciate that the store is most often stocked with all it has to offer. More than that, I appreciate the staff. I have known these people for months and years. They've been through everything any other work place has. They step up. They help each other. They get things done. In particular, I'd like to acknowledge Margaret (Des) and Nadine. These two ladies are always exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. They work hard and always show up. They've worked extra shifts to cover for a shortage or during a transition. They seemingly enjoy their jobs and the people they see everyday. I look forward to our pleasant exchanges and short chats each day. Thank you ladies for being so kind and friendly.

After purchasing some beer on my way home from work and transporting it home and putting it in my refrigerator, a few beers in i discovered they sold me a 17 out of a 18 pack of beer due to one can being broken inside and a box and beer cans with mold all over them. After calling the corporate phone number I was told by a rep on the phone don’t drink the rest of the beers and they will follow up. They followed up the next day and offered me a $10 dollar gift. The beer cost $23 dollars. It’s a loss on my part now. After being exposed to the mold on the cans and box , You would think they would have refunded the total cost. This gas station tends to have higher prices on the items they sell, I would think they wouldn’t be so cheap with having this poor experience on my part and mold exposure. Maybe the health district should stop by and check what else may be moldy in this gas station.
Update: thanks to maverik reaching out with a response to this review , however maverik has my contact information if they want to make it right. For the record I declined the $10.00 gift in the beginning since it didn’t cover the total loss. I’ll never step foot in a maverik again based on this process they didn’t care to correct from the beginning. I feel maverik does not care about the little people on their way up.

Make sure you pay attention to how much they are charging you when using a debit card. This station has now charged me the credit card price two times in a row when using my debit card. They are basically stealing a bit more from you. I highly recommend going to another gas station if you want to use a debit card. Front office staff was very rude and unhelpful too.

Purchased a Maverick breakfast Burrito today, and I was looking forward to the ingredients listed on the wrapper. Instead, I found a flour tortilla filled with 90% of some kind of potato mixture and 10% of what I was looking forward to. One bite, hopefully my trash can enjoyed the rest.

This gas station is amazing. Pumps are always working, store is clean, the AC is AMAZING in there for briefly escaping that heat, and their beverage station and fresh foods section are good. Bathrooms are clean as well. Would totally recommend coming here. Do know though that it gets pretty busy in the morning time, but that just means fresher breakfast. My favorite is their sausage gravy over biscuit. Just add some salt and pepper which they provide and that is a pretty tasty breakfast.

Love Maverick they always have a large convenience store with everything you could want clean restrooms usually some sort of captive restaurant in there or fast food that is made and always lots of pumps so you can always find a spot to pull into and then I like the cash versus credit prices
