This review is specifically for Le Labo /Jo Malone area inside Nordstrom’s . Ambria the salesperson was super helpful helping me fine Jo Malone fragrance. I ended up buying a Le Labo sample kit after talking to her about scents I liked and absolutely love it. Breath of fresh air having a salesperson in this area of the store be so helpful and smiling! She also introduced me to Mugler scents that are absolutely divine. Meanwhile as is the norm in the makeup/ perfume section other salesperson in the area was just scrolling on their phone even though there was someone waiting behind me ..

Store was very dismissive of me. Being a black and a doctor this seems to be a common practice a Nordstrom. The employees and store has no respect for minorities I didn’t receive any acknowledgement or help in men’s or kids. I know things won’t change with Nordstrom I’m just writing about my experience.

I was extremely disappointment with my service this day. My husband and I went to exchange a shirt I purchased online. I approached the sales associate with the shirt still in its original package, with receipt. I asked if I can just do an exchange for one size up, he immediately told me in a dismissive tone “ they don’t carry this item”, with no solution for what I could do next. Confused, I asked “ are you sure, because I ordered it from here?” Again, dismissed, “no”. At this point I asked for store credit, I was given a gift card and sent in my way. As my husband and I were leaving, he sees an entire rack of the brand that “ they don’t carry. I grab the size I needed and take it back to “Pem” ( I think that was his name, he was an older gentlemen in the men’s department.)No apology, just excuses were given to me to justify his lack of customer service.
