I reached out to Nevada Coin Mart several weeks ago about some Native American jewelry I was looking to sell.. I sent pictures as requested and was asked to bring the items in so they could see them. I was unable to come that weekend or the next, but received texts in between asking if I was still interested in selling, and was told they'd check back with me... which they did, so there was obvious interest. Today I drove there, was met by friendly security guards and told which window to bring my items to. Since I was making the trip I decided to bring other items, scrap gold, old coins and currency, and several other items. From the moment he sat down the employ "John" had the attitude of someone who didn't want to be there. John began by making comments about "no longer collectable" for the jewelry, as well as when I mentioned I had forgotten to bring an antique 24k woman's locket watch. I commented that was odd since I've seen similar items sold online and that I could see where this was going.. To which he rudely responded that I should sell them online and dumped the sorted items all together in a tray and pushed them back at me. The one offer he did make on one of the Native American items was roughly 5% of the price I've seen similar sell for. He was incredibly rude and when I said that to him he responded "I try". I've sold items before and understand you get no where near retail, but this is the first time I've been treated so rudely or felt that had I stayed I would have been ripped off. I found it interesting that during my first contact I was told Neil was Native American jewelry expert but at no time did this horrible person ever suggest that he would get Neil or suggest I come back when the expert was available. I have to wonder how much other business they've lost due to John and his deplorable customer service. Word to the owner, you may be a fair person with an honest business but your employee John certainly does not represent your business in any positive way.

Met the owner thought he's going to be nice and funny like you see on TV but it's all a joke when I went in he didn't even look at my face just turned everything down that I was left from behind for my mother passing told him thanks and he didn't even say nothing and even look at me leave what a douche bag Being nice on TV is nothing but a front and a cover-up on TV with the cops like he really cares about people bull crap.......‼‼‼

To start. I walk in and get confronted with questions from security. I say I have some jewelry and purses. They tell me they don't buy purses but can by my jewelry. cool. So I wait and show them jewelry. First off this place is behind glass. They take my jewelry and ask me if I have anything else acting like my jewelry is junk. They say it is barely real? How can something be barely real? They ask me if i will take $200. Are you kidding? When i said no they threw it back at me like I had trash. This place has no respect.

While I am not a frequent seller of gold, when I do find myself wanting to off-load some pieces I don't want a pawn shop experience. Nevada Coin Mart delivered. Neil was there and my interaction with him was professional, efficient (I was in and out with cash in-hand in 5 minutes) and pleasant. I will definitely come back again.

I was short on cash, and was looking to get the most money for my items, and I had some luck with them. I guess the only thing that I would say is, I didn't realize how I'm valuable, silver and costume, jewelry and coins are which they advertise that they paid the highest but all in all it was a good experience

Well we didn't get to even discuss services as the customer service was horrible and we left before we got up to the counter. My husband went here and the owner came out so rude to the lady in front of him, my husband also left. After him telling the lady to get out, my husband said well I'm leaving too. "Good get out" definitely a fast talking rude guy I would never recommend. The whole get up he has on the news is exactly the type of environment he creates at his store. I don't want to be scammed I want a pawn shop I feel comfortable in, not belittled and talked down to. Pawn shops don't have the best reputation but this was has too many red flags. Find a business to support that appreciates customers and treats them right. Being aggressive & rude towards clients male or female is not right no matter what your reasoning.I have no idea what you are referring too I didn't post my review immediately so you must have my situation confused with another event that happened. It was an older women in front of him that you threw out saying you were listening to what she was saying on the cameras. There was no one under the influence. Thank you for the quick reply but wrong situation you are trying to justify. I understand business and know there should've been a more respectful way to resolve what happened. You don't yell at customers in the store you should've pulled her aside and asked her to leave not made a scene. The lady was polite and left immediately after you called her out.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR GAS!!This place is no better then a back ally pawn shop.Went to sell my trading cards kept in a air tight bag. This twit said "they are wet". Yet there is no mold at all. Guess he failed science class. How do you have something wet yet no mold. He didn't even offer anything for them. If they were wet (which they weren't) then he could of simply dried them out. IF these good reviews are legit. Then I have no doubt they were ripped off. Guess I should of expected this from a place who advertises like a used car salesman.

Great place to sell! These guys were very professional, friendly, and took the time to explain aspects of the pieces I was trying to sell. They don't lowball because they know their stuff and actually appreciate unique pieces. They gave me a fair price and got me out of there quickly. Highly recommend!

I wasn't sure how it would be inside, but was pleasantly surprised. There is someone there at a small podium; he directed us to the available clerk, behind plexi-glass. An honest opinion by the clerk, it was tested, it was white gold, but there wasn't a whole lot of diamond weight to it. He suggested we sell it on other sites (gave us tips for safety) or keep it in the family. It doesn't mean anything to me, it was a gift from the ex. I stopped wearing it a long time ago. We left, but it was nice to know some info. On the way out, we saw the owner, who I frequently see on tv in the mornings when I have the TV on. Good service, didn't go with it, but felt like we at least knew some info about the piece.
