The product is amazing. Ibuave 2 senior dogs who needed something to help with everyday pains.
We whe left ent to get a second bottle yesterday 12-22-2024 from the location on tropical. The young man told my husband that Petco does not carry this brand and that it only comes from Petsmart.
My husband told him no, this is where we bought it and the employee insisted that we were wrong.
He left and went to Petsmart where they did not have it.
I looked online and saw it is carried by Petco where ai did purchase it the 1st time.
I was very disappointed.

Charlene, the apparent manager, seen below, has got to be the laziest, rudest, and least-concerned employee I’ve ever encountered at any shop, restaurant, or venue in my entire life. I had a cart with over $400 in product waiting for her at the cash register when the cashier could not ring up the prescription dog food that I need for my dear pet in kidney failure. She told me that my prescription did not have a barcode from petco, and that I’d have to see their sub-par vet to get the barcode. My prescription is from a real veterinarian. I showed her the prescription, and rather than ringing it through, she admitted that they don’t need me as a customer. My response was a profanity directed right to her, and I left my entire cart at the register and went to PETSMART, where I always get friendly, good, and helpful service. If i was the owner of this place, I’d fire this person. This wasn’t my first unpleasant experience with the staff at this store. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Everything pet you would want, and lots of critters, fish, birds, toys, clearance items. They also have a large variety of food for your pet, whether it be refrigerated dry or healthy options. The staff are friendly and they also have a nice grooming area. This Petco is in a nice area in the north west part of Las Vegas with lots of other stores like HomeGoods. Big Lots, and Home Depot.

I would like to express my gratitude and sincere appreciation to Michael who is an employee at Petco, located at 7731 Tropical Parkway, Las Vegas, Nevada 89149. Every time I visit this particular location, Michael has always answered all of my questions I have had with respect to the nutrition of my kittens. Michael has always been professional, approachable and extremely knowledgeable with the different brands of cat food. It is refreshing to interact with an individual who goes above and beyond to assist me. He is very accommodating, pleasant and polite. In my opinion, Michael is truly a valuable asset to Petco. Because of Michael, I am forever a loyal customer.

I had some questions regarding differences in dog food, and an Associate working in the isles was very friendly and came over answering all my questions so I could make the best choice for my dog. Then the young lady at the counter was also very friendly and made my checkout process very fast and easy. As I paid, for a second I thought I over paid and asked if i gave her too much? Rather than getting upset she kindly recounted what I gave her and she was correct and I was wrong. As I’m a Senior Citizen, unfortunately I sometimes get confused, but she was patient and kept her smile. Thank you for that!!

This experience begins with using the "Online" ordering to receive the advertised LABORDAY 15 discount off $75.00 or greaters. It takes so much time to order 25 differnt cans of cat food as so much is out of stock. 90 minutes trying to figure out why I can't order online it does not specifiy which brand and type is out of stock . finally I'm able to submit and pay for the $81.00 for the two discounts. Next day a text states my order is ready for pick up. the Second text says "sorry we missed you" all items were returned. That means I've lost the discount. So I go to the store after I call a clerk. I told her to hold the items and I will find the 4 cans that were out of stock and replace to keep the original dollar value to qualify for the $15 off of $75 + 10% off of $50+. The manager had to credit each can of first order online, then go thru the order one can at a time to discount about a $1.00 . This took half hour, and 45 minutes of my time. Your online system when I placed the order around midnight should not be able to charge food that is out of stock futher messing up the entire discount and terrible waste of my time. This loss of discount occurs every single time there is a online special as not until the next day, my order ALWAYS get cancelled due to products not in stock. it more than doubles my time to have to credit my first order, then, figure out per can how to provide me the customer the advertised discount , very confusing account, since they can't give me a credit at the store, then ring up the new order. I hate this deceptive, waste of time bait and switch causing me to over buy to meet the $75.00 total order only to have items removed and lose the discount, and or all the items put back and starting all over again. Advertised specials never have the items I need in stock only after I place them in the cart, see they are available for pickup, charge my card placing the order then shortly after a text says your order was put back as a few cans of food are not available.

Petco is good but they always run out of the dog food that I need by Orijen. Then the cat food by Wellness that I get for my cat they don't carry anymore so now I have to go to 2 different stores.

I recently had an unsettling experience at the Petco location in 89149 that has left me deeply disappointed. After receiving some initial assistance, Joe, the manager, suddenly refused to provide dog food and service for my snake, despite there being no justifiable reason. The entire incident was captured on tape, which clearly shows the events as they unfolded.
What stood out most to me was Joe's biased approach in handling the situation. Several off staff members as customers started the incident as scene on tape and Joe did not witness that. He. Made an assumption. There was an off staff manner telling her friend to stop on tape, Joe as a leader missed that and a made assumption and clearly on the tape as well as the register guy did not want to interfere with Coworker being rude and remained silent.. His actions were not just unprofessional but also indicative of poor leadership that he could not solve the issue while his boss needed a vacation that was over due in all aspects of work life life balance. Good job Joe….
Instead of addressing the matter with fairness and objectivity, it seemed that personal emotions and bias clouded his judgment. This is particularly troubling in a customer service role, where every customer and their pets should be treated with respect and without prejudice.
I haven't yet reached out to anyone else about this, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I talk to Joe and he said “ I sent the tape to Cindy” doesn’t even realize his co worker he has bias with and her customer off duty starters it all.
As customers, we are the backbone of any business, and we deserve to be treated fairly and respectfully. Additionally, the well-being of animals should always be a priority, and any sign of bias or hostility towards them is unacceptable.
I hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for better leadership and more equitable treatment of all customers at this location. Joe's behavior was not only disappointing but also a poor reflection of what should be expected from someone in a management position.
