1st off, we ship a lot of packages each day (at least 100 packages) so we decided that this gas station was our to go spot for dropping off packages and we gave them business (they makes money on each package from USPS), so for them to make money out of us is really cool deal. Oh well things aren't the same way we thought. Every time we dropped off with Jennifer (blonde lady who taking care of her smog business too), she rolled her eyes and didn't wanted to help us. I felt bad as we had a lot of packages to scan so we apologized to the manager but he confirmed that no need to apologize because they made money on having USPS station there. Jennifer and Hawaiian auntie are the rude people. If you hate your job, please do yourself a favor by looking for a job that you like. Life is short to punish yourself and your mentally in the place that you hate. However we did try to come up with nice conversation during we visited and I even supported Jennifer on her Smog business to make them feel better with us. Still didn't do anything better. Our last call was on Christmas week, we shipped A LOT of packages and to see Jennifer showed us her poor attitude right after we walked in. It was a huge TURN OFF. We NEVER gone back to this place. We NEVER supported their business. Just FYI, sometimes it's small world and you never knew who you talked you. Be Nice!

I love this local place for the Post Office and the car wash and reasonable gas. Helpful staff too.

Great selection here! I've been a customer for years. When the other places down the street weren't built the pit stop never failed me. 2 in the afternoon or be it 2 in the the morning the staff here is straight forward & honest, full of personality & different tastes in music I love it!Some of the staff have worked here for many years whilst others are new to the store.They even have a CPU postal station here 24hrs a day for pre-paid mail & full service between 6am-10pm. I've been told they pick-up mail Monday-Friday around 1:00pm-2:30pm roughly for the 1st pick-up & then second pick-up is around 3:30pm-4:30pm. Saturday pick-up is around 2pm-3pm sometimes they'll pick-up a 2nd time but I'm unsure of the rough time for it. They've even got a smog shop in the parking lot as well. "Smog hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Saturday" The staff over in the shop are helpful & provide excellent service even during the global pandemic the only change is that they do require you to wear a mask and only one person at a time may enter the shop as per stated by the health department/state regulations for safety.Last time I came in for a smog the shop fee was $21.99 but they also accept or price match other shop prices by $5 if a coupon is shown...almost forgot they also honor veteran discount either active or retired by $5 of the total cost of the smog. You can renewal your vehicle registration here as well for a $10 fee for convenience.

All other places are either closed or had lots of cars waiting for smog. I did a google search for another place and desert pit stop smog came up there was no wait Cody was very friendly and professional awesome service will be back thanks so much Cody

Cody is the best, just moved here from California and I needed to get my car smogged in order to register it in Vegas, he answered all my questions and I also received a free car wash, the smog check only took around 5 minutes!! It’s very nice to have someone greet you with a smile and a great personality, I will be bringing all of my car here for their yearly smog check, I hope Cody doesn’t go anywhere!! ??

I just went through the process of getting a smog check for my car registration renewal and I had such an awesome experience, I wanted to share it. Most places I’ve gone to get “smogged” the techs are just there. No enthusiasm. No sense that they care one way or another that you’re there. I took my car this time to Desert Pit Stop on Hualapai and Elkhorn (7161 N. Hualapai Way). Cody Rogers was on site. I’m very glad that he was there and I was able to meet him. He was very knowledgeable of any questions I had and I could tell he was very genuine in his desire to help and how much he cares about his customers. If you are due for a smog check, I HIGHLY recommended Cody. He even did the renewal of the registration after. It was outstanding. If you see this, Cody....thank you good sir. You rock.

I went in to get my car smog and the technician on duty, was great! I was lucky there was no wait, it was a smooth process, not only did i get my smog I was able to get my car registered all at once. I appreciated the professionalism and the great atmosphere. Oh and the car wash was an added bonus!! I'll be going back in the future. Friendly, professional, and fun!

Cody Rogers was awesome. Got my car in immediately, took no more than 5 minutes and I got a free car wash. Also the price was competitive in not lower than most. All requirements met with great customer service.

As much business as I do there, I feel its unnecessary to take your "bad day attitude" out on your customers. You should re evaluate how you handle and talk to others.
