Food is good generally. We came on Sunday and most people ordered dim sum but we ordered a La carte. Food was pretty good except they charged us $16 for hot tea and $1 for disinfectant fee. What is disinfectant fee mean? Cleaning the table? So I paid $17 for hot tea and cleaning the table. I guess people are paying it. I don’t mind paying for tea like $5 but not $16, paid $150 for 5 dishes, hot tea, and cleaning the table. I’m not coming back.

It was my first time to visit Rainbow Kitchen today because of someone recommended it. Actually it was super bad experience and feels disappointed.First, super bad hygiene of the staff. The waiter put the pen on my plate when I asked for order pen. I wipe all the plates after he left. He put the menu on my plate when he came to my table again….The waiter used the ladle to move the things on the table when brought the food and then put the ladle on my food……..super disgusting hygienic behaviors of the waiterSecondly, one of my orders is soup noodle which is $16. I asked if we can change to another type of noodle and don’t think need extra charge because the waiter did not tell me. When I confirmed with the waiter if we order soup noodle or not. He asked me that who took my the order just now? I said you took my order just now. Then he added the soup noodle order and changed to another type of noodle that need to add extra $10 but without noticing me. It is super ridiculous, the order is $16, the waiter changed to another type of noodle without confirming with me and did not tell me need extra $10 charge.Third, the food quality is not good. Some food feel like chemical inside. The Chinese broccoli is bitter at Rainbow Kitchen but we order Chinese broccoli in other restaurants are not bitter at all. Please don’t visit Rainbow kitchen, you will be super disappointed.Ps:Few tables with customers only when we arrived at about 1pm but the staffs urged us to order once took a seat for few minutes.

How did I not realize we had this gem of a restaurant? They're located in a plaza with a lot of parking and the size of the restaurant is ample.Their staff is great and friendly and quickly welcomed us as we entered. They made sure we were able to sit where we felt most comfortable. An abundance of options and all day Dum Sum!!! No need to travel to Chinatown aka Spring Mountain for delicious Dim Sum. The entrees are well portioned and flavorful. We definitely ordered too much and had leftovers for a couple of days, which held very well! Can't wait to go back. ?

Rainbow Kitchen is my go-to place for dim sum and good Chinese food. It has to be good because if you do go there and you look at the clientele, the majority are older chinese people. What does that mean? It means the food is good as the older generation of Chinese people know what tastes good. I usually go in the lunch time, and depending on the day there may be a wait, it's worth the wait, though. Another plus is it's close to my house...

I don't understand why it's rated so high. Came here with my party of 8 and it's not even busy. The service is extremely poor. Checked on us twice, never refilled our drinks and was missing a whole item that we ordered. Never asked if we were missing anything and I absolutely do not appreciate my plates being slammed in front of me when being served. I had to wave my hand like we were in school to get their attention. The food was HELLA bland. NOT EVEN THE SOY SAUCE saved it. I don't usually say much but when you disrespect customers like this. I just have to put it out here.I DO NOT RECOMMEND!This is a one and done for us. Never again!

When it's crowded. It's hard to walk through. The servers were giving out wrong dishes to tables. The employees are wonderful but the system they use to find tables for table orders need to be updated.

On the evening of January 13, 2024, I visited Rainbow Kitchen Chinese Restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada with a few of my friends for dinner. We arrived at the restaurant at around 5 pm and left at approximately 7 pm. The restaurant is situated at 7537 S Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89139. During my visit, I observed a few things that I believe require your attention.Firstly, I noticed that the hot water container, which was in plain sight, was in an extremely unsanitary condition. It was covered in rust and dirt, which is a significant concern as it poses a health hazard to the customers. The container is used to make tea and coffee, and it's vital that it's clean and free from contaminants.Secondly, the plates we were served on during our meal had partial cracks, which could potentially lead to food safety and health hazards. This is against the regulations of the Nevada Health Department and is not acceptable for a restaurant that serves food to the public. These cracks could harbor bacteria and other harmful microorganisms, which could cause food poisoning and other health problems.Additionally, I noticed that the servers were wearing blue gloves, but they did not change them after handling dirty surfaces, cash registers, and other soiled materials. This is highly unhygienic, and it is a practice that could easily lead to the spread of germs and bacteria. Gloves are supposed to be changed frequently to prevent cross-contamination and the spread of diseases.Furthermore, the vegetables we were served had an aftertaste that tasted like chemicals, which is not safe for consumption. This is a clear indication that the vegetables were not washed properly, or they were treated with harmful chemicals that could be detrimental to one's health. In conclusion, I would not recommend Rainbow Kitchen Chinese Restaurant based on my experience. From the dirty hot water container, cracked plates, and unhygienic glove usage, to the chemical-tasting vegetables, it is clear that the restaurant does not meet the required health standards. I urge you to take immediate action and address these issues as they pose a significant risk to the health and safety of your customers.

The dishes are the dishes eaten by the old overseas Chinese in Laotaishan. They are outdated and can only be made 50 years ago when there was no Chinese food. The quality is average and it looks like a novice cooking at home!

I went to Rainbow Kitchen while visiting Vegas and the reason I went was a co-worker shared an instagram story with me and ohhh man the food is good. Service was fantastic, they made sure our tea pot always had hot water, and on the last day we went for dim sum before our flight, they ensured our food came out timely. Love this place will definitely visit again. The only day they were closed was Thursdays.
