The technician never told me that the extremely tiny chip could turn into a huge crack and that I would have to replace my windshield. I have a witness that was standing there. Also, the witness notified me that the technician was working with broken machinery and that he had to keep going back and forth to his car to fix the machine and then tap on my glass again and again. I have security footage showing the entire incident.Safelite is not taking responsibility. They haven’t even asked to see the video footage. That’s always the easiest way for a company to deal with things is just say no.I’m very upset and frustrated. THIS HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I wouldn’t let them touch my car ever again. I am still checking to see if there is any recourse available. I’m not sure why I should be the one to have to pay for a new windshield. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Great service not too long of a wait, was offered water as well. Chase was amazing! Also received glass cleaner and that definitely will come in handy :)

My truck had a nice size rock thrown into it last night (rear passenger). A friend suggested to quickly make an appointment online for next morning to have it fixed. To my surprise, it was fix in an hr. Customer service rep at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Despite having gone through my insurance, she was still able to give me a substantial military discount on the repair which I’m super grateful for.The repair gentleman was outstanding as well and very knowledgeable. Was very personable and friendly which help put my mind at ease.My only gripe is that the window rolls down and back up rather slowly than it should. Maybe it needs time due to it not being the original. Might come back to have them take a look later in the week. Outside of that, I couldn’t be happier! Thanks for taking care of me in a stressful situation!!

Great experience from drop off to pick up. The gentleman at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful. The technician working on my car was great!! He goes by 5-0 and he was fantastic. And I got free glass cleaner. I’d give them 10 stars if I could

We got our front windshield replaced. The installer forgot to place the rubber on the outside of the passenger side. I had to go back to safelite the next day. They handled it professionally and fixed the problem without a fuss. I will return if needed in the future.

Mahe saved our day! Our car was broken into two days before we were supposed to trade it in...I came in and she was able to get us an earlier appointment! An absolute sweet heart! Jourdan was very kind and professional, and did a wonderful job on the window replacement! Thank you both again!

Got my back window replaced. The new window doesn't sit flush with the moulding like the original but that's no biggie. However, the amount of glass left in my vehicle after the repair is. The tech commented on how clean the interior looked upon arrival, and I explained to him that I had to vacuum out what I could as I still needed to drive for a few days prior to getting it fixed. I asked him to please vacuum out the leftover glass once they were done, and to please check any small spaces I may not be aware of ( never had a broken window before). Unfortunately once I picked up my vehicle I noticed quite alot of glass left all over the backseat and headrest, also along the side of the seats, inside the trunk, and on the door frame. I went back in to ask for it to be vacuumed out, but after a long day at work, a long check-out process, and having to wait to ask why my new window was seated so strangely, I was not content with waiting some more. Spent an hour vacuuming up the left over glass. I paid for the standard service but feels like i only got a portion of the service.

As an EV owner, I found the experience here mixed. The staff was friendly and professional but the communication from the company to the customer vs staff to the customer was poor. I made an appointment online and received an email that said to arrive with at least 60% charge. So I drove 30 minutes to this place and arrived with 61% charge. The staff, while friendly, refused to provide service because I didn't have 65% charge. I had to have a lengthy conversation with them about what was communicated to me prior to the visit. They eventually relented and serviced my vehicle and returned it with 56% charge. I'm nervous that my vehicle wasn't serviced completely. Regardless, if the company wants EV owners to arrive with 65% charge then tell us before arriving so we can prepare.

The technician was great, but he broke the cover for my rear view mirror when replacing my windshield. They told me they were replacing the piece free of charge and would come to my work or home to complete the work. I have been unable to reach anyone since my service to get an update. It’s impossible to get through to a live human on their phone system.

I did a drop-off appt. At 8am during the initial inspection I was told the work on the windshield and recalibration would begin no later than 11am and I would get updates. At 3:30 after no updates I called in. I was told they had not started on my car yet but it would be done between 430 -500 pm and they would call me. No call, so at 5pm I arrived and the windshield was still being worked on. At 6pm Inwasntold they are done but could not recalibrate it. I was furious and was informed this happens sometimes. I believe it was poor time management on their end. When I finally got my car at 6:20pm it was a mess inside. Some from the old windshield (rubber/glue) all over my floorboards, seats and gear shift area. Worst service and experience ever. I called corporate and all they would say was it was a all day drop off, there is nothing we can do.

Scam literally failed crack work for you to get insurance to pay for whole replacement of windshield.
