The instructors at this school are way more hands on contrary to other schools I have come across. It was way easier for me to learn and sped up that process.

The owner of the school can help with job placement and is very well connected in the industry!

“The Goddard School on Rainbow has been an absolute blessing. Our experience has been phenomenal! The entire staff was welcoming and accommodating from day one. The concept behind The Goddard School and its curriculum along with the staff on board have made this transition from home to classroom so simple, gentle and exciting! Ernesto has built a phenomenal team that feels more like family than staff. Ms. Nikki, Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Uli have been incredible to us, along with Ernesto. “This is the best place to take your child the staff is amazing and so are the teachers. Mrs. Kristina is also the best director at any daycare I have ever been to! It is a clean and safe environment and the classrooms are very clean. Mrs. Kristina is the most approachable person in the world and treats everyone with kindness. And when there is no school Mrs. Kristina brings her kind-hearted helpful 10 year old child to help around the school! So, if you are looking some place for your child this is the place to be!”

“My 2 y/o son has been attending The Goddard School (specifically E. Starr location) since October 2023. Prior to Goddard, my son had never been to daycare as he was always with either myself, my husband or a family member. We were pretty nervous when it came to looking for daycare options. We had toured multiple daycare facilities prior to finding Goddard and none felt like the right fit. Some were questionable, some weren’t clean and some didn’t feel safe enough. This one, however, checked all of our boxes. Right when you enter, you are greeted by either Jen or Sam (who are the sweetest and always have a smile on their faces). And can I just say how much I love how clean this place is!?

In the beginning, my son was very shy, to himself and was a bit delayed in his speech. Now almost 8 months later and after moving up 2 classes, it’s as if he’s a whole new person (in a good way!) and I wholeheartedly believe it’s all because of his amazing teachers: Ms. Alesea, Ms. Evelyn, Ms. Kash, Ms. Janae & Ms. Tammy. They are all so sweet, so gentle, so patient and nurturing. They‘ve provided my son with a safe space that has allowed him to grow in many ways! His speech has improved drastically (I can actually understand what he’s saying now), he sings songs, he can acknowledge his classmates by their names and looks forward to going to school every single day <3 My husband & I can’t express enough how grateful we are for The Goddard School & their staff and look forward to watching our son continue to excel.”

“My Son has been attending (CrossroadsAcademy) for a couple of months. My son is a micro-preemie baby born at 5 months. My son was delayed but since he started (Crossroads) he has learned so much. The teachers are amazing the facility is always clean. The front desk is always happy and wonderful to greet you and answer any questions or concerns. I really do recommend this place for your children!”

“I’ve had two of my children attend this daycare at different times over a course of 8 years, and overall, my experience has been positive. The following staff always stand out to me—Ms. Chrissy, Ms. Renee, Ms. Marshay, and Ms. Amina—because they are wonderful and truly care for the children. Their dedication to providing a nurturing environment filled with peace, joy, and love is evident in their daily interactions.

Like many childcare centers, they have faced challenges with staff changes, but I appreciate how quickly they recover to maintain consistency in learning and education. I’ve been with this facility through more than three directors, and I believe Ms. Chrissy, the current director, is doing an amazing job. Her leadership echoes her genuine passion for the center, and it’s clear she wants the best for both the children and staff.

While no daycare is perfect, I appreciate the effort and commitment shown here, especially in regards to education, food allergies, and policy changes. It’s a place that continues to grow and evolve while keeping the children’s well-being at heart. This is a childcare facility that I am not afraid to send my child to, so think about enrolling yours!”

“Mrs. Geneva is the BEST! My son has been having difficulty adjusting to having to go to daycare/school since this his first child care experience but Mrs, Geneva has shown him such grace and patience! My son LOVES Mrs. Geneva and her class!

The director Christine has also noticed my son’s difficulties and has taken an active role in insuring that he feels loved and supported. She is effective in her communication with me about what is happening, which is such a relief as a parent.

This facility is amazing, and they really do treat everyone like family! My son is greeted by name by everyone when we arrive and welcomed into class by Mrs. Geneva with warmth and love.

“I love this place , so I won’t take stars away but I applied for camp assistance on April 22 well before that and they kept emailing me on what was needed , it was all in 32 days ago, camp started already no email , nothing . I’ve emailed twice and no response . I had to go somewhere else that is killing me on gas because it’s so far it’s 24 mins away this place is 5 mins away . I really wish someone would have gotten back to me . I’m disappointed in nobody got back to me . I will still give the 5 stars because I won’t give it less because of one person not getting back to me . I still will go here and I still love this place .”

“My kid loves this place.. just started few months ago and now has always been asking to go back in school. Our kid can sometimes be a handful but I salute the teachers who have always been patient and kind.
Facility wise, it’s clean and has security with cameras.
I just hope in the future, they would consider to allow parents to watch live recording via phone app so we know whats happening while our kid is w them. They also do not send photos of daily activities like what other daycares do.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Kindercare Torrey Pines! We transferred here from another preschool so I was worried, I didn’t want to have the same horrible experiences we were having at our old school and wasn’t sure what to expect from a whole new school but I have absolutely no regrets other than wishing I would have enrolled my daughter here so much sooner. Mrs. Arlene is the director here and is hands down amazing. Any minor issues I had she was available via email or phone and made sure to address all my concerns as a parent whenever I had them. Ms. Dawn is the absolute sweetest lady, there will never be a day you are not greeted with a smile by her and always told to have a great day as you head out the door. My daughter loved her! All the teachers on the pre-k side of the school are amazing, you are always greeted with smiles and a good morning when walking in. My daughter loves Ms. Lauren and Ms. Deondra, there classroom was such a welcoming environment for her, any issues that would arise they would be sure to address it with me. The communication is great, the food they provide is great and seeing my daughter make so many friends and be so excited to see all her classmates everyday was such a breath of fresh air for us because we did not get that experience at our first preschool! Overall our experience was great and we will miss you all!!”

“Both my boys have been going to this daycare since they were 18months and we love it! Right now my oldest is in the Pre-K class with Ms. Alexis/Ms. Amina. They both instill helpful skills for development in personal and educational environment. My youngest is 18months in the toddler class with Ms. Laney/Ms. Sydney/Ms.Brenda. Ms. Laney and Ms. Sydney are very gentle and loving. They pay attention and address all my needs with my son, communicate through the app and in person to give me timely updates. I really feel they care for my son like their own. Ms. Brenda is a great classroom leader and provides development skills and activities that my son enjoys.”
