I have went to this store for YEARS and they have absolutely amazing service i am still giving them a five stars but something crazy happened at this store, i was chilling one day there and i see this guy looking mentally mad, and he decided to stand up and right when he stood up my dad came out and scared him that was crazy but so far this smiths is very good even though it only has 2 and a half stars it deserves a good rating in my opinion.

I only come here to make a quick purchase on gift cards (it's on the way home from work, without going passing home), like, today's the last day for Smiths Gas Rewards Points, 4x promo, today, 6/20/23, it ends. This is the easiest way to get points, when this promo is in place. So that's the time to buy it. Complete the survey for even more points. Usually the gift cards are stocked at the large gift cards display. I head to the self-service kiosk. I enter my alternate id, which is my telephone number, and then I check out, easy-peasy. The parking lot is usually very busy, so be careful when you're heading back to your car. This is a busy store. Lots of customers inside. Located at Tropicana and Jones corner, one of the Spring Valley locations.

Annoying due to sometimes they tell you that you cannot bring your backpack in then other times they do not say anything at all. Outside needs major facelift is in crappy looking strip mall that has seen better days in an ok looking neighborhood.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE DISABLED ! Checker - 'LAZY' LACEY ignores disabled people and stared me down as if I was beneath her!! I used to really like this store, but recently I had a awful experience at the self checkout with an employee named Lacey. On the morning of December 24 I went through the self checkout with more items than I could handle as a disabled person. I tried to pile items on top of each other to check out, but they kept falling and Lacey just glared at me and didn't bother to help. When I told her maybe I should go to a regular register, but that I wasn't sure what to do she just walked away. So there I am in pain with a recent medical issue causing me to be disabled. I 'get' that union employee only have to do what is in their contract- the problem with Lazy Lacey is that as a PERSON she ignored a disabled persons need for assistance. I'm SO disappointed. I even use the Smiths credit card because it benefits the employees. What a shame this Lacey seemed to discuss me being upset with the risk assessor and a lady in her 50's-60's with dark hair. I don't know what she told them, but they just glared at me. This store needs a lesson about how to treat the disabled ! What a disgrace.

Dealing with chronic pain is no easy task. Finding a good pharmacy that gives good advice is also a task in itself. Paul was extremely understanding when it came to helping Me understand the proper process to go through to get the pain medication I needed that works for My specific needs. Brandy was very polite and always has a smile every time I pick up My medication. A good pharmacist and a good doctor go hand in hand and I appreciate the patience they have with their patients. I highly recommend this pharmacy. Thanks again.

Never ever have fresh produce which is what the commercials represent makes me so mad. It could be freshly put out and it's already old molding. So disgusting and I have repeatedly said something to them about it and they don't care. I took a picture of the most recent thing and these potatoes they just put out.

2/18/22 my boyfriend went to a gas station near the Smith's and over heard a worker there saying someone threw two Maltese looking pups in the dumpster and they didn't know what to do with them. Hours later he picked me up from work and told me what happened, so instinctively I said let's go get it. By happen stance someone who took one of the pups brought it back because they couldn't keep it, this was around 10pm when he came back home with it. I was cooking a late dinner and my boyfriend cleaned him up but the babe was shaking for a while after the bath so I turned the food down and tried to help out. The puppy couldn't seem to regulate its body temp when I realized, he needs milk. I then did a search of what types of milk can pups drink which lead me to search which stores were still open in my area. Then looking up on the Smiths app to see if they even carry the milk I'd need which they did, and told me the isle to find it on..this is 6130 Tropicana 89118. By this time it's 10:47pm, so I rushed out the door to the store. When I arrive at 10:49pm the doors were manned by security, who had just let a civilian in so I go up to the door and encountered the worst customer service I've ever experienced. He yelled through a 2in crack in the door that they were closed, and I tried to explain to him that I knew what I was coming in for and where it was but he kept talking over me. So I then responded that it's not 11 yet, and you just let someone in but he wouldn't even open the door to talk to me but had no choice when a customer was leaving with a grocery cart. He tells me to ask the manager who pretended she didn't hear any of what was going on, he calls out for her and she swiftly turns around to say we are closed. I told her it's not 11 yet, then I hear a guy behind me say, "Yeah, it's not 11 yet, I need to get food for my daughter", another late but determined shopper who knew what he needed and where to go. As I'm trying to explain to her the puppy situation, she isn't hearing it so I stopped trying to reason with her and walked in as the doors to the store is open now and at this point it's 10:52pm. I walked passed her and I hear her directing the self check and cashier line staff to not check me out. I didn't see any cashier lanes open but I did see about 6 self checkouts open. However when I came back with the $5.49 can of puppy milk all but one self checkout was open. I then asked the manager, who is a black woman with a long wig on and false lashes (I don't know her name because she wouldn't give it to me), "So I really can't buy this one can", to which she responded no, and said she would have let me if I didn't walk in like I did. I told her no you wouldn't have because you didn't hear me out from the start and refused to even let me in the store DURING OPERATING HOURS. If this is how you guys like your store to be ran then I'm very disappointed. I gave the store a 3star because I do enjoy coming here overall. Thankfully the pup didn't die overnight. My boyfriend went to the store in the morning to get the milk..he drank 15ml of it and was able to drink a bit of water.

What a shame by Cassandra in the pharmacy!I called at 4:50 PM today trying to get there by five and pick up a prescription. We spoke with Cassandra and all she will say is you “we close at five”. We spoke with Paul, the pharmacist, He gave us some info on over the counter medications and give the same answer of “we close at five, if you get here we will help you”.I arrived at exactly 5 PM, Cassandra was sliding the gate shut as I was running up to the doors. She made a nasty comment “ We are Closed”and refused to help me. I went to customer service, where she also went and asked for the store manager, when Chris CSM came out he told me there was nothing he can do, because not even the store Director has authority over the pharmacy.Chris apologized, as Cassandra continued making rude comments about “we close at five Dash have a nice day”.SHAME OF YOU Cassandra! This is no way to provide customer service! Instead of closing at five you should say we slammed the door at five with the drawers counted and ready to go.

I came to Smiths in Las Vegas on 12/31/21 as my uncle needed some items for a party he was catering for a News Years celebration with his cousins and my parents. When I lived in Las Vegas Ages ago Smiths would be my go to Store as it was the Winco (dirt cheap items compared to Albertsons). They have your typical items like Produce, Alcohol, Snacks, Ice Cream, Plants, Cheese, Dairy and so on. The way the parking lot looked - LIKE A PACKED house was surprising as it didn't look as packed inside, strange. I was able to get in and get out real quick! When I shop - I shop like a mad woman running up and down the aisles using my pretend horn to let peeps know HERE I COME! Metaphorically xD buts that's the energy I channel haha I didn't interact with any staff as I did self check out although the worker or manager overseeing it said "Thank you and Happy New Years" which was great hospitality! The store was CLEAN impressive and fully stocked with items. No shortages here at all. The plants were beautiful too which I was tempted to get one but probably would not Fair well on the drive back to California. I would recommend Smiths over Albertsons any day . Whether you are out of town or a local make sure to sign up for their rewards! To get points :) Overall, love Smiths would continue to shop here especially if I'm staying in Vegas for a while :) or a quick meal for the nieces.
