I have been going to this pharmacy for many years, but I was very disappointed with the service today. The person who answered was rude, seemed like they were in a hurry, and hung up without even saying , she not even finished what I’m saying. This is not the level of care I’ve come to expect after being a loyal customer for so long.

Cashier was on the rude side. The two older ladies working the gaming/slots area were horrible. Southern highlands seems to be declining.

Your Smith's in Southern Highlands is the worst location in all of Las Vegas - and I live down the street from it. I find them disinterested in customer service in general and their products are subpar. But what broke the camel's back was this past weekend I bought a large container of strawberries and discovered they were moldy in the middle. Also bought a side of salmon and once unwrapped realized it was rotting and made my entire house smell for days. I took my receipt back and they refused to honor a refund unless I brought both items back. I've never heard of that. I should have fished the rotten fish out of the garbage after it'd been sitting in the hot Las Vegas sun for a couple of days and dropped it on their counter. I've had enough of this location.

Racism condoned herebeen shopping here for over a decade, never had an issue. while dealing with customer service near the cash registers today, a rude customer yelled at me and my wife to "shut up and go back to your own country", Nicholas and Chad( staff and manager) fully condoned her behavior, they were next to us and couldn't be bothered!how about do something! anything! like ban her from future shopping on property? imagine your own family getting treated like that, unbelievable!

Coming from a retired Smiths employee with 20 plus years with the company and over 34 years in the trade, there version of Customer Service is very different. Almost embarrassed to admit I worked for the company knowing that this location employs this low level of customer service.

This is my second review on this place, and today I had no choice but to make a formal complaint with corporate. While shopping here today the produce department was FILLED with nats. I picked up a sweet potato and my finger went threw it because it was rotten. I made my way to the Deli section, probably my least favorite part of the store, as service is always an issue. I try my best to not interact with anyone at the deli counter (they always seem short staffed, so the few people there always seem stressed and annoyed) well the pre cut meats are old and grey, so today I had no choice but to encounter the deli server. After standing there for 6-8 minutes watching the only person working the counter, clean the floor-and discussing with the seafood lady, across the way how their drain systems were all backed up, I finally got greeted but still had to wait until she finished cleaning to be helped. At this point it had been at least 15 min I had been standing there. Shortly after she started to help me a Second Lady appeared, but not to help as much as to stop who was helping me to have a conversation. Then when a manger approached to let them know corporate was there and please be on the lookout they decided to have yet another conversation. While this was happening I was fighting flys away, and was just more disgusted by my surroundings. I didn't even finish to get to order everything I needed that I just decided to move on to the chicken and meat section. There was a cart full of boxes with bacon packages but no one working on putting them in a refrigerated area. At this point after seeing the flys and now meat seating outside the fridge I decided I will NO LONGER BE SHOPPING HERE. Be careful with what you consume from this place. I left without anything but bite marks and 45 minutes of my life wasted.

As a Southern Highlands resident, this is my typical grocery store to shop. Tonight I walked in and there was a spill in the entrance. I was going to the other side to avoid it and had to slide a cart to the side when ANYHONY yells at me, "Yo, give me that cart. Get yourself a different one." He has no manners and has no idea how to speak to customers. I wasn't even using a cart, I just needed to slide it so I could get to the other side with foot traffic going all different directions. Anthony had no need to speak to me like that. So rude and unprofessional. And I typically do all my shopping there. Might be time to mix in Albertsons or something on my way home from work. I'll find something on the way home to avoid being treated like that. How about teaching Anthony how to speak to people? I realize cleaning a spill sucks, but I wasn't the cause of it. Don't take it out on me. Since it is a common name, this Anthony had many many braids for his hair style.

I received the wrong medication from Smiths pharmacy last month. This caused me to have a mental breakdown, depression and suicidal thoughts according to my doctor. The pharmacy said they do not know how this occured. I received no apology or anything. I could have lost my life from this error, I'm very lucky. I've since changed pharmacies. Smiths be more careful when filling prescription!!!!!

This is a different review because it won't be about the actual store but about the employee that works here. But actually, I should mention that this was my first time going here and it is probably the best grocery store I have ever been too. I'm not from Nevada so if I had to compare it to the grocery store here, it would definitely be comparable to Vons but the prices are less expensive. They had really good selection of products and although I didn't buy anything here, I would definitely recommend coming here to shop for groceries!!!!Now for the crazy part! My bf was doing the self check-out and I was watching one of the employees trying to wipe something off of her shoe. Then she walks over the other employee and was telling him that whatever is on her shoe will bother her all day. Then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, the employee who was a man just started bolting and running towards the store entrance and she followed. I was looking and trying to figure out why they were running and I couldn't see anything wrong at first. After a few more seconds, I figured out that a customer was walking out with a cart full of stuff and was trying to get away with not paying!!!! I can't believe the employee was even paying attention but that's why I'm writing this review is because he was so observant and I was impressed!!!! So he literally took the guy's cart and brought it over to the self check-out and literally went through his stuff with him. I'm surprised they didn't just kick him out and let him leave without anything. So good job, wish I knew the name of the employee but I was super impressed and very happy that they notice things like that.

I would not recommend buying baked goods nor and deli items based on their food handling techniques.

This is the trashiest Smiths in Las Vegas. The food is rotten, the staff is terrible. I won't ever go back

I've been going to this store for 12 years because they have the best pharmacy Paul and Al will run that Pharmacy a phenomenal that being said. This is the filthiest store in my 58 years of being alive and I've worked in supermarkets the bathroom is disgusting has the same booger above the men's stall for last 9 years. So today I go in there and I grabbed the quick bags of deli meats the turkey was 20 days old how do you miss something so simple and such a small case. The manager listened, but this is a running theme.

Smiths "The most pet friendly grocery store." I thought I was at Petco. Here to help.... Health and Safety Regulations State and local laws generally prohibit animals in grocery stores. This is because food is prepared, stored and sold in these businesses, and the presence of an animal could pose a sanitation risk. As a grocery store owner, it's up to you to uphold the law. The most obvious way to keep pets out of your store is to place signs at every entrance.
