I went to smiths to get groceries. When I came through line 12 today ruby the cashier was helping me. I said hello to her she didn’t speak. So I just contacted to check out, when I noticed she was throwing my stuff and not bagging. I was completely confused as of why but I didn’t say anything. Then at the end she gave me a total I asked her what about my groceries being bagged she said rudely you can, I said what. So confused because I hadn’t done nothing to her. So I told her I wasn’t paying till my stuff is bagged, and I normally help bag my stuff but she was so rude to me for no reason. So she was just throwing my stuff in the bags and tossing them down the belt. My bread was smashed along with a few other items. She called someone over to help her and when she gave me my receipt she didn’t say anything to me at all. So I went to customer booth she then went to the employee behind her and was talking to her then they both looked at me. Then she called another employee over name Joe ( I have been going to this smiths for 10 years) and was talking again assuming about me. And I don’t understand what was going on with her I hadn’t done anything to her. I have never had anything like this happen to me at this smiths I know most of them there and they all super friendly. I also called the main corporate to inform them how I was treated.

Had an issue with the sushi vendor. Requested a specific selection that was not premade and while they offered to make it in 10 minutes 45 minutes later and I made 3 trips to the area and still not prepared

This site and pickup orders have improved a lot... don't like the amount of self checkout and lack of actual love checkers open... there is one cashier I will not go to... she is horrible.. but most are fine.2nd review:Made an order for delivery. That order had several items I marked to not substitute.. 4 of 35 items were marked to not substitute... Cascade 72 count dishwasher pods for $17.99 was substituted with a 48 count pack for $15.99... which means I paid 33.3 cents per pod instead of 24.9 cents which equates to $4 more per 72 pods... the 8 piece hot fried chicken was substituted with 8 piece cold (refrigerated) WHITE ONLY fried chicken... I even made my delivery later than I was going to so it would be available... I ordered 2 so I now have 16 pieces of white meat when my family mostly eats dark meat... the kroger 16.9 ounce 24 pack of drinking water was substituted with 32 packs (I ordered and received 2)... this was an acceptable substitution... even though it did cost me a little more and I had said no substitution on this item. The last issue was that I don't believe I ordered the Philadelphia chive cream cheese spread that was $3.69.... I could have added it by mistake but I don't think so...I chatted on their your site with someone and they confirmed I had requested no substitution on the items that were substituted... there was no apology (which goes a long way with me) and they offered a $10 credit on my next order. I explained I wouldn't be making another Smiths order and that the chicken alone was $10... told them to forget it... they said I could return the items for a refund and I explained the whole reason I ordered was so I don't have to go in the store with my kids in the middle of a pandemic. I asked that they report my issues and left the chat.I understand that this whole thing is new and there will be issues but this was excessive and I don't feel the chat was handled well at all. "I'm sorry" should have been the first words out of their mouth. This was handled in a way that just lost a delivery customer for Smiths.1st review:Tip to the service deli: when someone asks for a pound of the $6.99 lb smoked turkey and you ask 'mesquite?' And the customer says "the $6.99 a pound smoked turkey"... don't slice the $8.99 lb turkey, then when the customer says "I asked for the $6.99 lb one' don't stand there and act like you didn't know. And then when you go talk to another clerk and come back don't say 'yeah we don't even have that one' and stand there expecting me to just say oh okay... I don't want the $8.99 lb turkey... have some knowledge of what you are selling and of you don't know them ask before you slice it... I waited 5 minutes to be waited on, another 5 for you to get the meat, slice and weigh it... for nothing!

Summerlin location has to be the largest Smith's in the valley. Always neat, clean, and we'll stocked. Much greater selection of product than most in the valley. Definitely a favorite.

Jan 31st at 2:30 I had a hispanic cashier eyeing my cart I only had 6/7 f king items in my cart I hadn't even made it to start ringing my items for self check yet meanwhile people were adding extra items to their cart but she was watching me i looked over my shoulder and she just kept looking as if i was doing something wrong first off i dont steal and they were stealing so I began to ring my items then I hand her my coupons... my digital didn't come off so I decided to tell her I didn't want3 of the items... as she took the items back she somehow set the camera off... she then proceeded to play the camera back 3 times 3 times as if it was something that I did as if she was gonna catch me doing something whole time it was her big a§ that was in front of the camera NOT ME .... so she took the items off and handed me my coupons ... I guess apparently coupons still attach after the items are took off. Because she proceeded to say let me take the coupons off . Now this is new to me and i know nothing about that because I don't work at smiths . But she was rude and very discriminatory... if I see her I will be going the other way because I was definitely profiled ... and I had multiple associates looking in my cart and I only had 6/7 items smh ? if this is the way yall train your associates it definitely needs to stop.

I was on the hunt for some wide mouth mason jars but they weren't anywhere in the plastic containers or ziploc section like they're supposed to be. I searched up and down those aisle rows but no luck. Then I asked David Kramer if he could lend a hand. Turns out, they had been moved to a different section and without any hesitation, he went all the way to the other side of the store to find them for me. He totally saved the day and made me one happy camper. Thanks a bunch for your help, David!

I go here all the time and the self checkout machines have very frequent malfunctions. Also I understand the need for a walled off section in the middle of store but the cashier posted there needs a refresher on how to act as a store employee. I was all but chased through the store for them to make sure that I hadn't put anything in my basket from that section. I hadn't, all I had from that area was a paper slip for a bottle of alcohol that I needed to bring to the upfront cashier so they can then get it for me. She most likely has deeper issues that drives her to treat customers this way but wow, it's a circus at this location.

Neighborhood grocery store. Great place and the smell of fried chicken was overwhelming. Hard to leave without buying.

It gets way too crowded too often. The traffic in front of the store is a mess. Try to avoid it and come in from the Rampart entrance. The prices seem to go up much too quickly and at a higher percentage. Buy stuff at their sale prices using your phone number otherwise you are a fool and an idiot to pay their regular price for things. I used to love their enchiladas made at the deli until they doubled the price. Also, they have installed gates to get in and out of the store which respond slowly not to mention practically penalize you for having to turn around to go back outside if you forgot something like say, your wallet. Have to walk all the way around the self check out through all the frantic activity just to hopefully be able to walk out without getting stuck behind a slow person (which there are many at this location, but don't misunderstand me, love yall, I'm just saying). The staff is amazingly good people - the only thing that's keeping me from giving the place 1 star to be honest.

Scam! Didn't think buying peaches on sale would be such a scam. I have my card and I logged into the website but didn't download the app because it just bloatware. Peaches were $2.49 or $1.99 or .99 depending on which bait and switch scheme they are operating that day. This is absurd! My mom lives in Sun City. I told her never to shop there. Ever. Just advertise the sale price. Digital coupons are just an annoying marketing scheme to get people in the store.

You can tell that cashier Louise hates her job. Not sure if it's because she's so old and doing a dead end job or if it's because she doesn't have a man at home. Either way I'm pretty sure I'm in the ballpark. Do yourself a favor and go thru Irma's line. You will be glad you did.

I have been shopping here for several years now and used to love going here, not anymore. The employees at the self checkout are rude. The guy in the bakery is a smart ass. Just not a great place to shop any more, looks like I'll be giving my business to Walmart....
