Knowing nothing about trees I needed some help. Anthony S. Was more than willing to assist me finding the right tree in this desert landscape. He went over and beyond to assist and load the tree into my car and give me step by step directions. Thank you Anthony!

Sadly, the signage for trees was not helpful. We allowed someone for help and the pointed us to the area of the tree we were looking for and arrive of the signs were missing, we selected a tree and dragged it to the front of the store only to find it was the wrong tree. Then someone went with us only to discover they didn't have the tree we wanted. The whole thing could have been avoided if the first person we asked had actually helped rather than pointing is in the general direction.

I’ve been going to Star Nursery for years, mostly because they somehow make me believe I can keep plants alive. 🌱 They’ve got everything—flowers, landscaping stuff, garden tools, even irrigation (for those of us who forget to water). Shopping there is usually quick and painless, unless I get distracted and end up with five more plants than I planned. The staff is always friendly and super helpful… especially when I’m asking if there’s a plant that thrives on neglect. Highly recommend Star Nursery!

We have been using this nursery for years, so I guess it time to do a review. We have always found this location to be ideal for us, and we believe it is the best Star Nursery in town. Their famous and friendly kitty kat always greets you with warmth and enjoys a quick pat or two. The staff overall have been friendly and helpful, but to be honest, it depends on who you get, we have had a few unsatisfactory visits, but not many. The nursery is well stocked whenever we have been there, and they have probably the widest selections of trees and plants in town. We used to buy most of our plants and trees here because of the one-year warranty, but since that changed a few years ago, we now go to Home Depot or Lowes, since they still do have that one year, hassle free return policy. Bottom line, good location, helpful staff (most of the time) and wide selection of trees and plants. We were very disappointed to hear that Eric Solano received another promotion and is no longer manager of this store.

I will not be returning to this establishment due to a highly disappointing customer service experience. During my visit today to purchase a sprinkler valve, I was met with a rude and unprofessional lead cashier whose demeanor reflected clear dissatisfaction and anger, rather than a welcoming and helpful attitude. Additionally, I observed that their prices were slightly higher compared to those at Home Depot and Lowe’s. Overall, this location not only provides poor customer service but also charges higher prices than its competitors.

Great employees. But don't buy the Emerald Carpet grass seed. I reseeded an entire lawn with it and the only parts that survived the heat of summer were in the shade, despite plenty of expensive watering. It's too fine bladed and doesn't grow tall enough to shade and cool the ground around it, so it dies.

Someone gave me a snake plant and angel plant a few years ago. They were thriving, so I needed to repot them. The staff here showed me how to properly repot them. They are now huge like in the store.

My first time here. The sales people seemed nice and knowledgable. I only purchased a fungus spray, but when I got home and checked the reviews on the spray I noticed the mark up on their price! Around $10 difference between them and any other store.
