We moved from La Jolla CA to Las Vegas. These guys did a tremendous job, wrapped everything, stored it and delivered it a month later. It took them from 8AM to midnight to pack everything and from 1PM arrival to midnight to deliver and set everything up in Las Vegas. They quoted us a competitive flat rate. I highly recommend them.

I’ve dealt with many movers in the past, and my experience with Sunshine Movers was by far the best. The experience started with Derek, who was responsive and worked quickly to ensure that I received answers to the questions I had, and my move-in day/time was booked within 48hrs. Then I was contacted by Damon, who asked some questions related to the move, in order to be properly prepared, and ensure that I didn’t have any unresolved questions/concerns. The day of the move I was contacted again, and kept aware of ETA. When I met Damon, he assured me that he would manage everything, and that I had nothing to worry about. While I appreciated the reassuring comment, I told myself I’d believe it when I saw it. I walked Damon through the path to my storage unit, and provided some details about my belongings, and we briefly discussed a course of action. I then bet Brian, who was eager to help out, and accepted Damon’s direction well. During the prep process, I quickly realized that Damon would taking care of my belongings, as though they were his own. He identified several areas where the previous movers had not protected my belongings well enough, and said that such an approach would not be considered acceptable to his manager, or Sunshine Movers. Damon ensured that every item that needed to be covered/wrapped was done so, with factors of safety included as well. The level of care used when packing and moving my items were unlike I’ve seen with other movers. Throughout the process, I got to understand the pride with which Damon conducted himself, and that he was resourceful and quality focused. He was also full of energy and eager to work efficiently and professionally. At no point did it seem like he was even slightly tired, or in an excessive rush to wrap the move up, even hours into the move. He managed Brian well, and together, along with some minor help I decided to provide as well, we were able to efficiently get the job done. When it came time for signing the receipts, I interacted with Jay, who was clear and helpful the remainder of the way, including ensuring that I received my initial deposit back.I highly recommend Sunshine Movers, will be recommending them to my friends/family, and actually look forward to having Damon manage any future moving needs I have.

I was schedule to move with this company & they went out of business without even a coutesy call or warning, I just happened to call the day before my move only to get a shitty voicemail stating they were no longer in business.

I hired the Sunshine Movers company based on Better Business Bureau ratings, and Google reviews. They explained the price in detail during the first phone call, and found an appropriate time that would work with my schedule. The move took several hours, Rodney and Larry had to pack everything, but they were in good spirits and kept the experience positive by engaging in light conversation during the packing and moving process. I am elderly so I was little help in the packing and moving, but they kept the process flowing smoothly. They didn't just leave the boxes on the floor of the new location, they set up the furniture and asked my opinion of a location I had in mind for the items. I've read horrible experiences some people have had with some other moving companies, such as just taking off with their furniture or suddenly announcing a cost of three times the quote (?!?!) after the work was complete, but not so with Sunshine Movers All in all, I had a very positive experience with Sunshine Movers company and would recommend them for anyone needing a moving service. Do not use, this is where they get you, they start out great moving quickly, then they get slower and slower, I have never had movers take 8 hr's to move me and this was from a storage unit, already ready to go, and then to a 1 story house. $800.00 later. My dryer had no scratches on it, and when I showed Cedrik, who apparently was in charge, he said oh no we covered it, we looked through all the pictures and my dryer had no scratches on it. I called the owner, Danny Ives, he would not take my call nor has he ever returned it. This is the problem going with an hourly company, they can extend the time for as long as they want and your stuck. When the owner won't call you back that says something for the company up front. DON'T USE SUNSHINE MOVER'S, THERE IS NO SUNSHINE WHEN THEY ARE DONE.

These guys - Rodney and Luis - were great! They arrived on time, ready to work. I had a lot of boxes and different things, such as fragile lamps, computers, TVs and various desks, etc., and they wrapped them and got them on the truck, and even unwrapped them and placed them where I wanted them in the new place. And we did it all in a very reasonable time frame! I would recommend these cats to anyone looking to make a smooth move!
