This place completely lost my respect. Yes, they do a great job on a fresh set, and I kept going back for that reason — but the way I was treated just for wanting a removal was flat-out horrible.
When I first started coming here, the owner herself told me that if I ever wanted a removal, it would be $25 if the set wasn’t hers, but only $10 if it was her set. Fair enough. But when I actually came back to remove a set that was originally hers, the owner herself suddenly told me it would be $25 — completely going against her own word. That right there already showed me the lack of honesty and consistency.
I called ahead and spoke to the male at the front, and his tone was dismissive, rude, and made it sound like I was asking for something free — when in fact, removals are a service we are charged for. He said they were “too busy,” but when I walked in only 3 minutes later, I saw three clients finishing up with their services and the salon wasn’t busy at all. Yet somehow, I was told I’d need to wait 30 minutes.
It’s obvious they don’t even want to bother with removals unless they can push you into getting another set. If you refuse, they become cold, hostile, and unprofessional. And the fact that the owner herself treated me this way makes it even more disappointing. Why even offer removals if you don’t want to do them? That’s not customer service — that’s manipulation.
This type of greedy, selfish attitude stains the nail industry. Instead of standing by their work and treating customers with respect, they’d rather take advantage of people for something cosmetic. I went from being a loyal customer who was promised loyalty discounts to being treated like a nuisance over the simplest request.
Honestly, if you want a proper, welcoming, and professional experience, go to Eden Nails & Spa instead. It’s a family-oriented salon, the women there are sweet, professional, and genuinely make you feel welcome. They are also far more classy and professional compared to the ghetto, hostile vibe of T Nails.
It’s unprofessional, it’s uncomfortable, and it’s embarrassing for a business to behave like this. Customers deserve better than to be dismissed, lied to, and pressured like that. T Nails has shown their true colors, and I won’t ever go back.
