Terrible Herbst Convenience Store is a handy stop located at the corner of Blue Diamond and Durango, particularly for those returning from hiking the Red Rock Recreation Area or heading over the mountain to Pahrump. It offers self-service fuel with pay at the pump and plenty of fueling pumps. The station attracts a very trendy crowd and many out-of-staters. While the fuel is priced higher than most nearby stations, it provides a clean place with efficient service and nice people. The store inside has drinks and snacks, and there are other food options like McDonald's nearby. A nice addition is the port-a-potties in the parking lot. I had a great experience here while on vaca in Las Vegas. Won on a slot machine. purchased a little squeezable pig for my granddaughter. Oink oink! ? was hoping to buy another farm animal on line, but no items sold on line, will have to visit again.

Do not go here early morning, 9 times of 10 they are closed while they change staff. Pumps included even for credit cards. No other gas stations close by so hope you don't mind waiting "5 to 10min"
