Took my insurance then dropped it after doing testing so I don’t even get my results because they have to collect $50 to see the doctor. I’m in Medicare and disability and cannot afford 50 a month to see a doctor. Then I get told they accept only “straight Medicare”. Imagine an lgbt clinic only accepting straight Medicare like I was told. Imagine that another place only accepting straights.

I go here for my regular STI screening panel (and free HIV screening) every 3-6 months. Every time I get a nice advocate and they’re very educated and answer all my questions completely. This most recent time my advocate was Gabriel and he’s really nice!
STI screenings can be awkward but I feel so comfortable every time I come here!
Out of pocket full panel is $60 but they accept insurance (:

Had an appointment on 6/20/24 at 3:45 pm. I dove 40 minutes to get there with traffic and 40 minutes back home. Filled out all the paperwork and waited. The called my name and had me go to the back to tell me my apt was at 1:30pm (which it wasn’t) and they couldn’t take me. I told them my apt was at 3:45pm. They responded with well we’re sorry our computer must me messing up, but we can’t take u today. You can wait 2 hours+ after everybody else is done and we might be able to fit you in or told me I could come back another day.

I went to get tested for STDs about a month and a half ago, I still haven't received my results. Meanwhile the other I was with got theirs back within a few days. We went on the same day. The worker drawing the blood was very hasty and rude. The other I came with had medical needs and any accommodations were ignored by the worker drawing blood. Honestly it was a really poor experience, we came here because the AHF wasn't open the day we needed testing. For a clinic that aims to aid the LGBTQIA+, this place practically didn't.

Do an online service instead for PREP. I had an appointment. I checked in. There were two people waiting inside. It was not packed at all. Two or three people went ahead of me after an hour of waiting, so I asked what’s going on. These people WALKED in the building after me. The guy at the front desk had no clue even though he JUST checked me in for my appointment. He asked another staff member that was standing around and she had no clue either. Then they said my wait would probably be another half hour before deciding to try and make up for me waiting. I got seen and the lady said she would put in my prescription next door while I was getting blood drawn so it would be there when I got done. When I was getting my blood drawn, the lady doing it would say instructions fast and in a low voice and started getting annoyed and gave me the meanest side-eye because I couldn’t hear her. Minutes later at the pharmacy, they did not have my prescription in and had to message the provider next door.

Good in person but the phones rings endlessly and they will not call you back with results idk what to do to get them of no one ever talks to you. Updated kinda late but I went back in and got my results extremely quick. So in person great place but will most likely have to return for results

There’s such a comfortable flow, from check in to exit, with each visit at The Center’s Wellness Clinic.
In recent months, the quality of care from the providers I’ve seen, has improved from adequate to excellent. With a well-informed staff, each visit offers such a succinct experience that I’ve been unable to find elsewhere.
From James @ check-in to meeting with Matt in the prep room, to their phlebotomist Aryanna, upon different visits, they were all each available & attentive to my thoughts & questions related to my visit. That feeling of being lost in a world of symptoms & uncertainty is exchanged with accurate information that leaves me content.
It’s more than just medicine. I’m confident in my continued care here at The Clinic, I will continue to refer my friends to your facility. Thanks for be here for us.

Had the most abhorrent and ghastly experience with the center clinic. Waited in their lobby for an hour, with an appointment I was on time and left work early for, only to be told they were still waiting on a room - yet everyone who was there before me and who had come in after me had already been brought back. I will not be giving any more of my time to this unfortunate organization, nor will I refer other members of our community here.
