I asked for a balayage with a dark hair
color that fades into red. I’m not unhappy with the results per se but I am not happy with how long the process took. I started here on Monday around 2pm and had to stay until almost 7:30pm and now I am back here today on Tuesday since 11am and it is almost 2pm. When I thought we were done since she was already blow drying my hair, she finally saw that she missed a few spots of red dye on my hair and proceeded to add red hair dye to those areas which means now we have to go through the shampoo process all over again. I understand a balayage can take some time but i knew it was longer than it needed to be when my hair stylist’s colleague told her that she was using too much foil to begin with. I try to have patience since I know this is not an easy job but someone else could have executed this way faster. My hair is not even that thick and I do have pretty long hair (to my mid back) but this process should have taken maybe 4 hours in total. Not only that, the process was very messy and unorganized. I HAD DARK HAIR DYE ON MY CHEEKS THAT I HAD TO WIPE OFF MYSELF IN THE BATHROOM. I still have dye marks on my cheeks today. I don’t normally write bad reviews but I just had to this time because my patience was really tested this time around. Sorry

I got bangs for the first time from Heather and I love them so much! It was also a quiet day at the salon, so it was nice and relaxing. Good price for an hour haircut. I usually go to salon schools for a cheaper price, but they usually take 3-4 hours, and results can vary based on the student and their level. JCP Salon is a great mid point in terms of time and money value :)

Worst haircut I've ever had. Missing chucks of hair on one side and layers not blended on the other side. Had to go somewhere else just to try to fix it.

Every time l go in there the hair stylist's run in the back acting busy when no one is there this place needs to be checked out something is not right they are not taking walk in's

Miss Beverly has been cutting my kid's hair since they were babies & now they are teens! She also does great with my color and prices are very reasonable- she is an absolute angel!!

Laura did a great job on my color. She had some good ideas about my hairstyle too and I will return soon to have her cut my hair. She took time with me and discussed options for both color and cut.

I had my hair done by Heather who did a fabulous job and she is now my lifetime hairdresser. I had a hairdresser that turned my hair black and I was blonde and she took her time worked with me and got it back somewhat to where it was where I’m happy at least she put so much work into it and she got it done and I left very happy. Happy New Year’s.

The service I received was great, my stylist was attentive. The salon was dirty!!! I was one of the first customers in the salon at opening 11-7 @ 11:00 and there was hair and trash on the floor, the floors looked as if they had not been mopped in days. There’s no acceptable reason for a store to not at least be clean swept. If I didn’t like my stylist so much, I wouldn’t return.Services: Hairstyling

BAD SERVICE!! From $12.99 she wanted to charge me $45 for a haircut. She claimed "it's to much work." I went to another salon and charged me $20 for same haircut and styled. I wished I remembered her name.. she is a ripped off to Jcpenney salon. Never again?

Have you ever left a salon and wasn't sure how you felt about your haircut because you are on the high of someone playing with your hair? Today I left & I fell even more in love with my cut. That hasn't happened in a long time for me. Are you searching for a stylist? The review is more for Cassie than the actual salon but because she works here, JCPenny's gets top stars! I have lived in LV for over 7 years. I have searched for stylist, from stupid high-end (ridiculous pricing) to super cheap. I stopped doing high lights, low lights, biolage, etc. My natural hair color worked for me until the gray starts over running my head & I kept spending money on things that just weren't worth it and wasn't even really what I was asking for. In December 2019, I walked in to JCPenny's and took first available. Honestly, I didn't have super high expectations. I hadn't had a really great hair cut since I loved from Texas. I quickly told Cassie what I wanted in my hair cut. She listened! She did exactly what I asked for and it came out amazing! She has a magic about her! She is an incredible artist. I'm so happy that I have found my stylist! I will definitely follow her anywhere she goes. She is consistent which means she truly is a master at her art. I've gotten my hair done twice by her & incredible every time. My husband and son tell me the best haircut ever. I'm super happy with my results. As far as COVID-19, they sanitize everything before you sit down & after you leave. Also, the staff wear masks while cutting your hair.
