Great little store that gives you a fun sampling of Japanese pop culture. The women who run it are very kind and helpful.

Meet me in Tokyo! Tokyo is a beautiful city, it is relatively small but compared to other cultures has brought so much innovation to the world just based on their art, values, and culture. As Americans we are a world away from this island. But a little piece of Tokyo can be found here in these stores. Learning is a skill that one should never forget. Come in and see what you can learn about yourself from the experience you have in this store. Many of these stores share their products from Tokyo for you to try out. Let's not be so closed minded. The products that they sell come from Japan. The range of products they carry is amazing. They have aisle after aisle of food, beauty, home, toys, and many other products that you have to see to understand. Expand your knowledge and horizons by seeing how you can see how other people live through their own eyes. Live through their experiences. Like most Americans of this great nation, we are a melting pot of history. "I have a dream," that dream is to have everyone feel included and inclusive. A dream where our ideas can mesh together and create something unique and meaningful. Walk among the aisles and try something that an individual human being uses but with a different perspective or packaging. Eat something that is unique and not customary to your diet. You might be surprised and discover something new about another culture and their perspective of the world. See you just learned something new. Knowledge is power. Knowing how the world works makes us better understanding to those around us. Whenever we shop here we sample the beauty products from Japan. They offer so many options to choose from. While I cannot understand or speak Japanese the products they sell are of the highest quality . Who does not love the rich colors they use in their inspiring art they create. The dragon that products the home from evil spirits. The lucky cat that can bring prosperity to you and your family. Believing is what starts the process.

We were looking for some hello kitty items for a birthday party. The store was jam packed with a large variety of items. Some of the quality was very poor. The staff didn't speak to us at all until check out but this vary well could have been a language barrier. Prices were ridiculous though. Nothing was actual licensed products and so over priced. We bought 3 items- a pen, a small coin purse, and a lanyard and it was $30. I could have gotten better quality at hot topic etc. Perhaps if you wanted anime it would be a better fit as they had so much in there!

They have a little bit of everything here. Great gift ideas for all ages. They have tasty, unique snacks and drinks. And items for daily living example chop sticks, bento boxes, tupperware, skin care. The customer service was great. I came here for a friends gift and left with a lot for myself.

My sister and I frequent this Tokyo Discount location to fufill our Sanrio and cute stuff obsession, but today we had to leave all the items that we were both originally planning on purchasing because an employee was being rude to the both of us.The employee in particular that was being rude to the both of us was an older woman with a short bobbed haircut. She made it quite obvious that she was following us around the store and was keeping an "eye" on my sister and I, because she thought we were both going to steal something (we always pay for our stuff, thank you very much). I also didn't know that she was behind me at one point and she shoved her way passed me without excusing herself and bumped into me. So in the end we both decided to leave without buying anything because we both felt very unwelcomed. Please shop here with caution because they think that you're going to steal something at any moment. An other thing to also be weary of while shopping here is that they also sell a lot of bootleg/unofficial anime, Ghibli and k-pop merchandise.

My family and I go to this place a lot during the year. I love the items here so does my family. I've never been here during the Christmas season until today. People were all over place. It was crowded. I made way to the line and was in line for about 15 minutes. There were no other lines besides the one I was standing in. As the line starts to get to the front, I see another line that was formed after I stood in line. As the person in front of me went to the cashier, a lady went right after her. I said to her in a nice way that this was the line, she got rude and proceeded to go forward then said go then. There was a guy behind me but he didn't say anything. We were exchanging words while all along the workers there knew especially the cashier since she was facing our line and the new formed line. When I got to the cashier I told her about but did nothing. She just pretended that she didn't hear what I said. Just an idea, I think during this time of year, you as a company should make a sign that says line starts here this way no one will know to avoid any confrontation between your customers.
