I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT MY APPOINTMENT IS AT 3:00 PM AND MORGAN NOT STARTED MY HAIR UNTIL 3:15 AND I TOLD HER I WANT LAYERED BUT SHE CUT MY HAIR LIKE SHE JUST TRIMMED THE END OF MY HAIR-I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO HAIR CLIPS IF SHE WILL ONLY TRIM MY HAIR-WILL NOT GO BACK TO ULTA BEAUTY ANYMORE-NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE -WAS SO DISAPPOINTED

The staff at this location is amazing! Joanna noticed how lost I was as soon as she saw me, offered to help. She took her time to help me color match my skin tint ; explained to me what undertones I have a d what to avoid, and what to look for!! We got my perfect shade and all the employees I saw were helping people!!! Give Joanna a raise!

Yesterday I made an appointment for a regular hair cut and made it for today but 30 minutes before the appointment when I was ready and driving they called us saying to reschedule when I needed this haircut urgently before an event and we already made an appointment. This was very inconvenient and the lady talking was rude and this was overall a terrible experience and I do not suggest going here.

I recently moved to the area and finding a great hair architect is challenging particularly when you have textured hair. I searched online for someone with expertise with Keratin treated hair. I typically get silk presses, but Bryon suggested we try a roller set first to add body. Also, Bryon uses products to make my hair less brassy. OMG! I am absolutely delighted to have found Byron! Byron is everything! Byron educates me on the condition and needs of my hair. I can sit in the chair and walk out feeling/looking amazing. Byron also focuses on my experience which is the cherry on top. Thank you, Byron! You are the best! Kudos, Ulta, for your amazing team member, Byron, who provides excellent service, knowledge, education, and care to his clients. I am a thrilled repeat client!

Booked an appointment for a perm earlier in the day for a late afternoon time, and less than an hour before the appointment I got a missed call (on my way to the salon) asking if I wanted to reschedule for the next night. I didn’t see the call until after I checked in. When I checked in they told me to take a seat and they’d be right with me. I was 20 minutes early to the appointment. After waiting until the initial appointment start time, I noticed I had an automated message from the salon stating they canceled my appointment after I checked in, without even telling me in person. I went up to ask someone about it and they’d told me to sit back down and the person who was supposed to have come and spoken to me when I checked in would come and speak to me. After another 10 minutes Christy finally came to speak to me, she said that she didn’t feel comfortable doing my hair because it has a few highlights in. I assured her that I’ve gotten a perm before when my hair had way more highlights and bleached parts and it was fine but she constantly said she didn’t want to do my hair I said fine. When she asked if I wanted her to ask the other stylists if they’d be comfortable I asked would they be able to do it today, after my scheduled time. She evaded the question and kept coming back to the fact that I had highlights. I repeatedly asked if they’d be able to do it today and still she didn’t answer. She just kept saying that because I had highlights she wasn’t comfortable. I again said my hair would be fine, it’s been permed before (twice) without any complications. Christy was very rude, she waited until the last minute to call and try to reschedule my appointment and then canceled it without speaking to me. The associate who checked me in knew about it and didn’t tell me either. After repeatedly justifying the reason for canceling as she didn’t want to do it, she then offered to have me tell her manager that I was okay with my hair being permed as is and paying a fee for her to stay late and do it (mind you this was 30 minutes after I’d gotten there). I said no, I didn’t want her as my hairstylist. I saw many bad reviews about this particular Ulta and now I can see why.

10/10 for Angel at the salon, she was so kind, fun and patient I have really long thick course hair and she made it so silky and bouncy, my blowout is still amazing days later, the wash was amazing and everything was so relaxing.

I just had the most unpleasant experience with an associate named Arlene. She basically yelled at me when I was doing an exchange. Terrible customer service on her part. I will try calling for a manager tomorrow because this is a location I always go to and I’ve never been treated the way she treated me. I also never go out of my way to write reviews but she rubbed me entirely the wrong way. I hope her day got better.

I'm an Instacart shopper, and I occasionally find myself at various Ulta stores. I also frequent similar stores such as Sephora, and Bath and Body Works. Sephora and Bath and Body Works typically have an employee help Instacart shoppers so we don't take an hour on 10 items. I was shocked the first time I shopped at an Ulta store, and they looked at me like I was crazy for wanting help find what's on my list. After that experience, I tried to avoid Ulta as much as possible, as the same scenario occured at every Ulta store. The most I could get out of some employees was a general location of items.
I was very shocked at my visit to this Ulta in particular however. Due to my recent experiences at other Ulta's, I 100% walked in here thinking I was on my own, and that the most I'd get are general locations (maybe). Upon entry I was greeted by Hetcy, who was very kind and asked if I needed a basket or bags. I told her I needed two bags as I'm doing an Instacart. I was flabbergasted afterwards when she asked if I needed help finding anything, what?! Absolutely!!! And just like what I'm used to at Sephora and others, she helped me with my entire list, incredible! I'm super appreciative of Hetcy for her taking the time to assist me with my Instacart order!
If I continue to get Ulta orders, I hope it's at this location.
TLDR: Hetcy is awesome!
