I had an auto loan with UNIFY that was essentially paid off within a year through insurance and GAP coverage after my car was totaled. Despite my efforts to stay on top of every detail — including making multiple follow-up calls, coordinating third-party payments, and communicating promptly — UNIFY charged me over $200 in finance charges simply because the GAP payment took time to process.
There was no negligence on my part, no missed payments, and I was told that no late fees had been added. Yet when I requested a simple goodwill adjustment to waive those interest charges — charges that only existed due to third-party processing timelines — they flat-out refused.
This felt incredibly unreasonable, especially for a customer who cleared the balance early and made every effort to do the right thing. I expected more flexibility and fairness from a credit union that claims to care about its members.
I’m disappointed, and I wouldn’t recommend UNIFY to anyone looking for understanding or empathy when unexpected situations arise.

I have been paying my car payments (they were the lender) on time, on automatic for years only to find out UNIFY sent me to collections…. Claiming I haven’t been paying even though my bank statements show otherwise
This is fraud and theft
And WHY would they send me to collections? It greatly affected my credit not to mention the time spent now needing to clear my name
And tried to contact someone and literally no one will get back to me. Horrible.

Ahvee treated me right! I came into the Vegas branch to order a replacement debit card. I was dreading that the unfriendly lady (now the manager maybe?) was going to have to help me, but I got this guy Ahvee! He was so easy going and he even had a nice compliment about my Smiths t shirt. Jjst a couple of weeks later, I got the card in the mail. One quick call to activate it. And, I was buying my first latte of the day with it in minutes! Thank you Ahvee! You may have actually saved me as a customer!

The literal worst company/credit union. They will steal and manipulate deposits to your account to cause overdrafts and other financial issues. Reps are never actually helpful, only provide basic information that can be easily found and provide answers to questions that are not asked. Looking forward to finally being done with this sham of a financial institution. Almost any other bank or credit union would be a step up. If you're considering becoming a member--DO NOT.
If you're currently a member, find something better IMMEDIATELY.
Edit: not only are they now holding my deposit hostage, they have added a new debit that was already adjusted and settled, and took my account to negative.
This financial institution is operating like a scam company. Will be closing this account ASAP once they deposit my funds which they are now STEALING.
Already initiating a BBB complaint.

Have been trying to get my vehicle title for over a year with no results at all and very little customer service. I pay off my car loan and should expect my car title but no nothing now thinking about selling the car but can't do not have the title. Piss poor if you ask me. And probably no one will even respond to this. Thought it might be worth a try. Very frustrated for sure.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! TRUST THE 3.1 service reviews!!! This place gives you the run around. They were my lender for my auto loan. My vehicle was deemed a total loss 12/27/2023. It is now 01/16/2024 and my account isn’t paid off. Gap needs to cover the rest of my balance after my insurance payout. I have been calling every other day to Unify and i am told my balance of 6k will magically go away and receive a partial refund because of the way my check was posted to principle. I call today for update woman tells me nope balance of 6k is still owed. This 6k could've started the process with gap yet you prolong it to get more money from gap with the interest you charge. Your calls are monitored and recorded for what? Because you sure don’t use them as training purposes. Next step is to write a BBB review against this bank.DO BETTER UNIFY!

The people are beyond rude and this is the scummiest bank I’ve ever come across. Will steal from dead family members bank accounts after they pass and not do anything about it.Would rather dig for gold and hope to scrape enough together before ever taking a loan at this piece of shot bank.

Oh watch out!!! I went over my limit on my credit card because they added their finance charge. It ended up, $0.11 (eleven cents) over the limot and Unify reported it to TransUnion Experian and Equifax decreasing my credit score!!!! UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!

I am a full pledge account holder with UFCU and the services that they provided has been excellent. I enrolled to this account when they made a presentation for our employees (company located in Torrance Ca. (NO issues IN CA) then moved to Texas (Same NO problem) NOW retired and moved to Vegas(STILL NO ISSUE) . I am very HAPPY and satisfied with this BANK. Reason: 1.They DO NOT charge any Banking Fees unlike the other Bank institutions ($12.99/month) STAFFS: PROFESSIONAL /COMPASSIONATE/EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.. Applying for a Personal Loan was easy. THANKS Marivic for always being their for me

Not a good bank at all don't go here! They claimed to mail out my title a month ago when they never sent it! They are unorganized don't waste your time.
