Paid for priority package delivery. Scanned as accepted at post office and no other updates. It’s been a week and the only thing they can tell me is it’s not at their post office anymore. No idea where it is because someone “forgot” to scan it. Unacceptable.

My husband and i went in today Jan 23,2024. We were trying to get a passport for our daughter. I recently did a full adult name change. There's a man there who looks like Uncle Ruckus from the boondocks with an atitude that's just as nasty. He wouldn't answer any questions and I'm just hoping my daughter's application gets accepted because he was short with us and just trying to get us out of the way. Long story short unless you know exactly what you're doing avoid that man at all cost. Go to the nice gentleman with the long salt and pepper locs. Good luck.

Thank you very much for your wonderful work. Mrs. Aracely's was charming and very kind, we went the day before to ask about our appointment to apply for the passport and she helped us a lot by telling us that we could do it without an appointment. We returned the next day and she was there to help us with everything and with a unique smile. We left there so happy, for having accomplished such an important procedure and for having been treated with so much love and respect. Thank you very much.

If I could not give any stars I would. The staff that handles passports specifically the older gentleman is extremely rude and unprofessional. I don't know how with so many complaints and bad reviews he still continues to work in that place, mistreats and abuses his power. People like him should not be working for the public. I am sure that my family was not and will not be the last person to be treated like this, the administration should take into account the opinions of the public but why do they exist, so many people cannot be wrong. Without a doubt, a bad worker and without any empathy should be removed or at least transferred to another department but not dealing with the public because the truth is that he does it extremely badly.

The staff for the passport section are extremely rude and unprofessional. I am here with my children and I can’t believe how they treat us. They really need to change their attitude!!

Reading the reviews shows how far we’ve sunk in expectations. The postal service does less than a third of what they did just two decades ago- charging MORE- longer lines- STAMPS have quintupled- & everything they move takes longer!!! And for the unfortunate patron that has to BUY any product at a post office- prepared to be gouged by prices inflated over 300%!!!!! ? REALLY?? HOW does that garner 5 stars? Because people were “nice” & did their job? Really???? The US Postal Service gets no love from me!!

My PO Box was broken open and had mail in it and I was never notified. Came back from out of town to find this. Asked for the supervisor who was most unhelpful and borderline rude. She gave me a card to call and said whenever they get a locksmith out to replace the lock and key, until then pick up my mail at office door. Have had this box for 20 years with no problem until now and there are no cameras there in a town with cameras are everywhere. And charging $115 to $230 for a box now for 6mos to a year rent.

I'm giving this place 2 stars because I arrived real early before they opened as a walk in for passport and If I hadn't asked, nobody waiting would know they had to sign in, no appropriate signage on procedure. We were at the top of the list and the supervisor Shannon ended up changing original list for a new one without notice. Everybody rushed to sign and we ended up at the bottom even though we were amongst the first arriving. When I confronted the staff basically told me to be patient and that they were not checking arrival time but only order of names on list. I was enfuriated but had to remain calm because staff told be they could ask me to return another day. Spent nearly 3 hours waiting and watching people who had 30-40 min go first. Awful experience and awful explanation from Shannon. Only 2 stars because clerk 33 was super nice.

Shannon is a poor excuse for Postal Leadership, and under her supervision, I can see why the reviews about the lack of customer service are consistently anything but complimentary.Sometime Last month, I received a delivery notification from FedEx. I had the delivery sent to my Postal Box at the Sunset Post Office. When I arrived at the Post Office two days later, I checked my box and didn't see the delivery, so I rang the doorbell for the Box service attendant. An older (60+ YO) African-American lady, who was not in uniform, opened the door. Because I was standing at the door and saw she needed to step out the door, I said, “Good morning, sorry, excuse me,” while stepping out of her way and without greeting me in return, she immediately said, “I can't help you, someone else will be right up.” I have no idea why a simple greeting was lost to her. I replied, “All I said was Good morning.” This, to me, reflects a poor work environment in which this lady is so ready to be defensive that she can't even greet a customer that she isn't necessarily servicing. Then someone else came to the window and tried to explain to me why my package could be delayed even though FedEx said it was delivered two days prior. Without arguing, I was directed to a supervisor. A Caucasian lady with a protruding beer belly talked aggressively and loudly toward customers I was completing the Passport process. This was the supervisor I was directed to.After Shannon finished loudly speaking to passport applicants, she appeared to have a moment to spare. She walked over to me and I asked her about what my expectations should be regarding the delivery time from the Post Office’s dock to my PO box. While attempting get my question out, I was interrupted several times with snarky comments. She stood approximately 3 feet away from but was so loud other people in the lobby were looking up to see what was happening. She finally answered my question, telling me that delivery from the Post Office’s dock to my PO box, at the same location, could take up to two weeks. This was very hard to believe but she gave some very long and convoluted answer about the process. Before leaving I told her that I've had my PO box at this location for approximately one year and had never experienced a two week wait after receiving courier service delivery notification that my package was delivered to the post office dock. A couple of business days would seem more plausible.I'll never forget this incident, it's one thing to have bad processes at work that are frustrating it's a completely different issue when you're known by customers to be rude and aggressive with impunity.

I have always been treated with kindness and respect at this Post Office, even at times of heavy traffic. I think they do a Great Job!

Horrible customer service. I arrived A few minutes early for my passport appointment, was told to sit down and fill out the application. I filled it in a few mins and then went back to the counter where i was told to take a seat and they would give me a call. No one told me i had to sign in on a clipboard in order to be called for my appointment. The person completing the application had no idea i was there and i wasted an hour plus of my life between the drive and sitting there. I had to leave for work. Terrible service, no respect for the customers time. Emplyees were also very rude and unapologetic

Another zero star visit to this po. This time we found few customers and some workers not helping customers. Nevertheless the rude and unhelpful person at the desk identified as for passports sent us away with a litany of bad news. We needed an appointment that takes 4 weeks to arrange. Or we could come on the least convenient days at 7 am and wait for 4 hours for someone to "help" us. The person saw no need to offer to make an appointment. Nor is their system set up for another person to assist this person (the one with no other applicant to help). For years now I have wondered why we need so many postal workers? Being closed and unavailable will be about as useful as our ecperience today. They see no reason to ever be efficient or as helpful as commercial post offices. I think we can easily cut deliveries to homes down and get rid of the staff who have the attitudes. I've met helpful postal workers. But they were mostly rural. AThe helpful staff are in the minority at this location. Our tax dollars at work...?
