In normal times, they're fine and don't often make mistakes for us. But they never respect hold mail requests. They keep delivering things during the confirmed hold mail period. Which causes delivered items to go bad or be destroyed from sitting in the heat.

I‘m here to change my address just now. The staff member who served me told me that I couldn't change my address without the document they required. I asked him if there were any other ways to change my address. He said no! A few minutes later, I came back to double-check. Another staff member told me I could fill out a form here to make changes. If I didn't come back, I wouldn't have know!

Has walk-in appointment on Saturday 9-12 pm. Staff make a list of only 18 people and only guarantee seeing 15 people. Poor customer service. Management needs to look into to time management on the staff it should only talk 15 mins per person if he has check that everyone has all needed documents.

For the amount of people these post office employees have to service on the daily they are epic. The 3 people servicing in the front have to deal with lines are really great for what they have to endure.

Based on the bad reviews, I thought my experience here was going to be negative. I’ll note that I arrived around 8:30 a.m. All the workers were beyond kind and helpful. I was assisted by a lady with glasses at the front and another woman in a green shirt at the pickup area. They were both so friendly—I wish I had gotten their names so I could reference them directly, but they absolutely deserve five stars. I understand people have had bad experiences here, and I don’t want to invalidate that. I hope future customers remember how stressful retail jobs can be. Be patient with people—you never know what they’re going through.

My family and I visited this Post Office on 3 Jan 2025 to apply for our passports. We don't reside close to this USPS; therefore, this was my first visit here since the majority of my USPS visits have been to another branch location closer to my residence. As a result, this review is primarily for the passport services that I received and nothing else. Prior to my visit (appointment), I accomplished everything that was required according to the USPS website and Department of State requirements. I ensured that all items listed on the checklist were completed in hopes that my visit in the office would be seamless.
When we showed up, there was just one person in line, and one person already being helped, which was good to see; however, there was just one person (Alba) working the passport section so I was a little concerned at first on how fast the process would take. As soon as the first customer was done, I realized that the next person didn't have an appointment and just had a question regarding passports, so essentially, we were the next customers to be helped. Note: Word to the wise, do not stand in the appointment line if you only have a question because they cannot answer them (even if it's an easy/minor question, in your opinion). Instead, stand in the main line out on the Post Office floor (where you go to ship and receive packages/parcels). Yes, it may sound silly, but if you allow one person to do it, then everyone will stand in the appointment line taking up other customers' time.
When we were called in, I was amazed at how efficient Alba operated....apparently this wasn't her first rodeo. On top of it, I've experienced many rude and unprofessional USPS employees in the past; however, Alba was extremely friendly and professional. During the process, I realized that it is conducive to be well-organized and have all your paperwork ready to hand to the agent, otherwise, your appointment time will last longer than anticipated. Not to mention, the folks standing in line would appreciate it as well. Fortunately, I read everything that was required for this visit and had everything ready (including the already-filled out checks for the payments). We didn't require pictures since we already accomplished them at a local Walgreens so I don't know how long that process takes. The minor downfall to this passport section is the size and lack of privacy. Customers in line can literally hear you while they wait outside (I recommend closing the door whenever customers are being helped). Also, I could've been seeing things, but there seemed to be two stations in the passport section, and they were close together (personally, I would spread them out further for added security/privacy especially working with personally identifiable information documents). Although there was only one employee working, if there were two operating at the same time, I would've disliked that experience.
Overall, I was shocked to see all the negative reviews and ratings of this USPS. Most of the negative comments could be from the main floor employees/processes and not the passport area; therefore, I cannot validate those negative reviews. But, for the negative reviews on the passport areas, I'm sure people have their unfortunate experiences, but like I mentioned earlier, it helps to be well-organized and have everything ready prior to your appointment time. I highly recommend you read ALL the requirements on the USPS page in advance and ensure you have ALL the documents ready prior to your appointment time. It really isn't difficult and people tend to make it difficult on themselves and instead of blaming themselves, they'll place blame on the employees - entitlement at its greatest. With that, I liked this Post Office, as a result of my 4-star rating, and will recommend this Post Office to everyone. If I ever experience the main section in the future, I'll be sure to update my rating (3 or 5 stars), based on that experience.
