I visit this place a very long time ago. We took my cousin's pitbull for - what was it? Vaccination? I really don't know. I was a little kid during that time. I hate this place.

I was lucky that I went to the airport to double-check everything before the PCS flight to Anchorage. The staff there at Alaska Airlines dug in & notified us that we would need the health cert for cockatiel as Alaska advised ALL - not just furries. Flight was in 4 days. Airline staff gave me a list of places to call & we exhausted that list & continued to call from Google Maps. We went through 8 additional calls until we got to VCA Nellis Animal Hospital. The staff ROCKED? & got us taken care of.Doc Ojeda & this Amazing team are full of tons of knowledge and experience - not to mention the level of caring and professionalism is ?

Unfortunately the costumer service is really bad ,they dont say hello welcome, always a sad face and rude ,i give 5 stars because the business has nothing to do with the people working for it

I think I have to get this off my chest too because I’ve never been to a vet and I’m a first time dog owner. I had just come back from a trip to another country for family reasons and had to follow proper protocol at work just to even leave work early due to my dog’s condition.I was judged the entire time I was there. I kept hearing the ranting in the back room after each small test sampling of my dog about my “ignorance” and not knowing what I’m doing. Like clearly I’m not a vet and I went to the VCA to get help from people who should be the experts.I also work a job that does not really allow me to just leave without penalty even in emergencies as I have to reason really well to my management.I get that sympathy or empathy isn’t a part of anyone’s roles there but the customer service from the vet and associates is lacking. I’ll never forget that the moment I was panicking and couldn’t remember my dog’s birthday (not like anyone else hasn’t forgotten the birthday of their spouse or child at times), and stated my dog was a Maltese, I see the desk lady make a face and judgingly ask “That’s a Maltese?” It’s just a bit condescending and rude because it’s my first time there and I can hear the negative commentary and indifference. The only reason this received 3 stars is because my dog got better but if my dog hadn’t, just based on the service alone, this location deserves 1 star or less.

I hate to give bad reviews, but here I go. I moved recently to Las Vegas and needed to take my dog to the clinic because he is on ongoing medications and needs a refill every month, and it was required to take him for a first time evaluation at this new clinic, first of all, the front desk lady was not friendly at all, then doctor did not show any empathy or cares about my dog condition, she wanted to changed medication, i refused. Did several test on him that didn’t need, my dog felt so scared and sad, i took him and will never come back to this location.

Dr Simpson, Mary and the entire staff are simply amazing. Feels like family in a professional atmosphere. If you are a military family I highly recommend this office!

They are great with my babies. My pit is a service animal and has bad anxiety in public. They were able to complete the exam and vaccine without sedation. A little pushy with selling the insurance, but I understand it's part of their job. I will always bring my pets here.

They were really good with my 17 year old Kahlua when I had to put her down in 2019, got the ashes & paw print & tail clipping back from them later. They also were good with my cat Lilly when I needed her checked out when she gained weight quickly after getting her fixed. They are currently treating my porch cat, Midnight, for broken toes and a big leg cut. He is extremely frightened of most people, but he wasn't scared of any of them! They have called me to check on him and I'm going back in on Saturday for them to check his drain, stitches, and paw.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I can’t remember anyones name which is also sad, but they all were fantastic! I just adopted a pitbull from the shelter and he had an allergic reaction to his new food after weening him off of the shelter’s brand. He had hives all over and his face was HUGE! The workers there could not have been nicer. They all played with him and gave him lots of love since he was just adopted so already overwhelmed with all of the changes happening and kind of nervous. This is a great facility, they even covered most of the fee with the credit from the shelter for an exam. Can not recommend them more! Hemingway was a very happy dog when he left!

Had to send our 17.5 yrs old kitty over the Rainbow bridge and the staff and doctors here were professional, warm, and patient. I'm super grateful my wife found this place and she called a few places, checked websites, etc.. Thank you VCA.

Our furr baby kittykitty is alive because of the angels that work here at the VCA NELLIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL! Its true that superheroes don't wear capes and fly in from the sky like we see in movies. Angels don't sit in heaven and play harps all day...they are working at the VCA NELLIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL. I recommend this ANIMAL HOSPITAL to all of you out there who have been turned away by everyone else! I recommend this hospital to all of you who have tasted your own tears because you feared the worst for your littlest family member. Dr. Martinez is a real superhero with all the virtues that a true physician should have!

This hospital was very kind and easy to work with and did not charge an arm and a leg to put my dog down that was 16 yrs old .they were very honest and kind and I even had him cremated and put in a nice wooden box that says his name on it. They put him to sleep and creamated him for less than$400 which was a helper for me. I didn't have allot of money and my poor dogs quality of life was not very good since he was 16 yrs.old.If I have any other animal needs I will for sure bring them to this hospital thank you again
