WAKE UP PEOPLEVCA Hualapai Ranked Worst Vet Office In Las Vegas All of us animal owners routinely get used to spending money with these vets. This place ONLY cares about getting their money. HUALAPAI VCA is a joke. My dog has received the same flee an tick medicine for 2 years they tell me they can not approve it until he comes in for exam. It's the same medicine u have been approving for 2 years but won't do until I come bring you more money. They say legally they can't but somehow it legal to let the dog run around with tick an flees????? They say good chance you won't get any tick an fleas in las vegas. So what does that mean I've been paying $65 monthly for 2 years for something I don't need. Which one is it ?? Do the dogs not need flea an tick medicine or do they. It's safe to let dogs run around with fleas an ticks??? You say this after I spend $2000 over last 2 years getting the same medicine with you guys or is this just what you say when you don't approve the medicine but then after I've done an exam then you will stress to me how important it is to have your dog on flea an tick medicine an that I must buy it. VCA Hualapai go to he'll I'm done with these scam artists. There's a Vet Office on every corner in Las Vegas. Hualapai ranked the worst out of the worst vets in Las Vegas

Doctor Love spent 8 min on an examination appointment during which she weighed the dog, listened to his heart, and looked at his teeth, for 8 minutes! Everyone would understand you can't have a thorough examination in such a short time. During the exam Dr. Love asked me to leave so the dog Patrick would not be anxious when I came back Dr. Love was gone and the assistant told me that she had other pets to see. I had concerns and questions and asked Dr Love to come back and give me advice in regard to my dog issue. She refused, and I was appalled by such a treatment and her behavior. When I complained about such an unacceptable visit, they sent an office manager who actually spent time with me to answer my questions. We will never see Dr Love again and Strongly do Not recommend her to anyone! This visit totally change my mind about this place. I paid 88$ for the examination and 160$ altogether for the vaccine and drops they sold me. For 8 minutes of service.

I went to Dr. pepper and a different doctor for my four week old kittens! They recommended some tests and a plan going forward for immunizations and welfare checks! I'm happy with the service that I got, didn't have to wait to long. The facility was also very clean and professional as well as the staff!

We recently adopted a puppy from a Path 4 Paws and in the packet they gave us, we were referred to the VCA Animal Hospital for a free check-up. We chose the Hualapai location as it is the closest to our house. Upon arrival we were immediately taken in. The doctor we saw was nice and helpful, as was the staff. My first impression was good. Our puppy has intestinal issues, which we described to the doctor. A prescription was given and a stool sample ordered. (We have an older dog as well, and have been taking her to another vet for a long time. The location is further away from our current residence, so we had high hopes that we could have both of our pets seen at a vet closer to us.) Today we got word that the stool test showed that our puppy has a parasite and more medication was prescribed. When I went to pick it up, I took a stool sample from our older dog to see if she was also infected. I was told by the staff that they could have it checked and was charged accordingly. (There were four staff members present when I was given this information.) Within a short period of time, the staff member called back and said that their "executive director" said that they could not check the stool sample without my pet being examined and offered me a refund. I informed her that I could bring our dog in immediately but was told that the first available appointment was Tuesday morning (we went on Sunday), that all of the doctors were busy and they were short staffed. They could not "squeeze" us in. Mind you, when I walked in the parking lot was empty and no one was in the lobby. There was no sign of any other pets at the location. I accepted the refund and called our other vet office and they said they could take the stool sample immediately, and to top it off, their price was substantially cheaper (62.00 vs 79.90). I called VCA back to retrieve the bagged stool sample and was told that it was "destroyed" as it was considered bio-waste. This all took place within a 30 minute window. So now I have to wait until my dog "goes" again later tonight or tomorrow, which will be too late to take to the vet today. Why the urgency? We are boarding the older dog later this week as we will be out of town and cannot do so if she is also infected, meaning we will have to cancel/change our plans, so the sooner the test, the better. This was all explained to the staff, but they would not accommodate us. Needless to say, we will not be taking either dog back to this location as the service was not what we were accustomed to with our other vet.

I have taken my dogs to VCA Hualapai since we moved to Las Vegas about 8 years ago. The staff and doctors have always been friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we had to put our senior dog, Jack, down a couple of weeks ago. We scheduled an appointment and could not have had a better experience. We were lead directly into one of the exam rooms that had been set up with soft blankets, etc to ensure Jacks comfort. The staff was so amazing and helpful during such a difficult time. Dr. Pepper performed the procedure and could not have been more caring and sweet. Losing a fur baby is horrible, but everyone there made it as easy as possible. When I got the mail today, there was a sympathy card with hand written messages from Dr. Pepper and the staff. Such a sweet, unexpected sentiment just reinforced how amazing the staff and doctors at VCA are, and that they truly care. Thank you all!!!

BEST Animal Hospital! The staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable. You hardly ever have to wait to get in for your scheduled appointment, they value your time! The Drs are amazing, our favorite is Dr.Borba!! We've been going to VCA for over 4 years (ever since we got our pup(s)). She is gentle, soft spoken and thorough, not like some places that "upsell" treatments, she knows her stuff for sure! We VCA Animal Hospital hualapai(but ALL VCA's are great) ...highly recommend them!!

Since i didn't want to have them put my old sick dog down in front of me, I waited in the lobby Dear God in heaven the loudest scream i have heard in my life came from the room my poor baby was in. The vet come out and said I hope you didn't think that scream was from your dog; there is another dog back there getting his teeth worked on. I still have nightmares of my beautiful old little dog getting killed a very violent end! This happened 6/7 years ago her name was Venus

We had to stop going to Hualapai Vet. My cat was very sick one morning and I needed a vet asap. We had only been going to VCA Hualapai for grooming the last 18 months. My cat loved Christine and she was good with him however when my cat was sick we saw Dr. Domingues. I found her to be condescending with me and disregarded what I said i had observed and the reason I brought my cat in. During the visit my cat became hysterical and had to be sedated for tests. This has never happened at any previous vet.The next grooming visit, my cat would not have anything to do with Christine. Whatever memory he had of the place was obviously no longer a positive experience. No more grooming and definitely no more vet visits here. Too stressful for him.

My cat was not feeling good for few days and I decided to call them to see if they have any availability.. i know a lot of animal hospital and even other locations of VCA do not accept same day appt or walk in, so I hesistated to call them. However, the staff was very friendly and willing to find their availability. I went in after I made an appointment and the check in process was quick and easy. The environment of the office was welcoming which made me (and my pet) less nervous, front desk staffs and cashier were also friendly. Doctor Boling and his assistant, Alyssa (sorry if I misspelled), were very kind, gentle, and friendly to my cat, so he didn't freak out at all which was pretty rare to see. I'm waiting for the result of his blood work at the moment, but I do recommend this location and the hospital.

Used to be a great place, have taken our animals there for ten years, they used to care about their patients, the animals. Those days are gone apparently, went right out the door when Thalisa Love walked inWe are now almost $2,000 in and they still don't know what's wrong. We did get a new doc, really nice guy, but he doesn't know whats wrong.Sent copies of the blood work, to our vets back home in another state and every other vet asked why they didn't give him antibiotics and if they were keeping him sick to get more money as we are scheduled for another blood test, another $400 on Monday. ( around $400 for each , extremely high considering their cost is around $60, $600 for an x-ray, and all the other fees, ) But they still don't know what's wrong. Very frustrating. We shouldn't be charged thousands of dollars for "I don't know"

I have been bringing my dog Hudson there since I got him earlier this year. The staff is so friendly and nice. My dog doesn't get anxious or anything when we go there so that says a lot. This Friday he was neutered. I was nervous to be honest, but they relieved my anxiety quickly with just explaining everything and assuring Hudson would do fine. And he did, now he might not be to happy with the cone but he's getting use to it. I can't say enough good things about them. The doctor even called after the surgery. That is amazing in my book. So if your looking for a good Veterinarian's office that is not just all business but has a human side. This is the place. So thank you everyone for taking such great care of Hudson.
