I recently purchased a dodge Journey that was leaking and I was informed that it was my transmission. To be sure I came to this place because I was informed they do free evaluations.. they showed me the issue and gave me a price if I decided to get it fixed .. and before leaving they added transmission fluid for me for free so I didn’t have to drive some more without fluid and possibly make the situation worse. Too bad these guys mainly focus on transmissions, I would’ve loved to come to them for any of my car needs.. it also was a lady in front that was very nice and answered my questions. I highly recommend

The best place to go for an automatic transmission. Jr and his guys really know what they're doing. I haven't found a place to get a rebuilt trans for cheaper anywhere in this valley. Here even best the prices I found around la.

I'm someone who always does my own car repair because I've had too many bad experiences with mechanic shops.. but I ended up breaking, dealing with a transmission issue. So I took my 1987 Jeep Cherokee to Brian at Vegas Transmission Repair LLC after buying a replacement transmission and installing it.. just to find out the spline shaft was completely wrong. Brain recommended a transmission rebuild because finding a transmission that would fit my Jeep was like finding a needle in a haystack.. which he was completely right about. Brian was patient with me, worked with me on a reasonable price, he did the rebuild faster than I could've ever expected. Not only did he do great work on the rebuild.. he cleaned the entire transmission up, clean enough to eat several meals off of.. sent it back to me looking and running brand new. Brian and Steve are friendly, meticulous professionals, great men and an amazing business. I'll never take my cars to ANYONE else when it comes to transmission work. Brian and Vegas Transmission Repair LLC, you've got a customer for life! 5 stars well deserved.

I had an appointment scheduled in advanced. I had my car towed to their facility and when we got there NO ONE WAS THERE! I told the tow truck driver to leave. Bottom line was the owner never showed up for 2 hours! when he got there he said his 2 employees were out and never gave an explanation on why he was late. Poorly run business. Beware

Terrible customer service don’t recommend!
Bryan had me running through the wringer for a month saying he could help with his TEAM (which is just he & 1 other guy). He never responds to messages you have to get lucky to catch him & if he’s even serious enough to act like he cares to get you in to help he complains saying next week over & over again it’s a bit exhausting. How they don’t have a scheduling management setup doesn’t make sense unless he just felt whatever was necessary to get in for him because every week seemed to still fill up since I couldn’t ever get in. How people like this stay in business with such terrible management & customer practices we’ll never know.

I recently visited Vegas Transmission Repair today and had an incredible experience with Brian. From the moment I arrived, he was nothing short of amazing. My car wasn’t showing any error codes, which made diagnosing the issue a bit tricky, but Brian was determined to help me figure it out. We took a 20-minute drive together, and not only did he pay close attention to the car's performance, but we also had some great conversations along the way.
As someone who knows very little about cars, I appreciated how Brian took the time to explain things to me in a way that was easy to understand. It felt like I was talking to my dad, someone who genuinely cares and wants to help. His kindness and informative approach made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer.
At the end of our drive, Brian calmly informed me that my issue wasn’t related to the transmission after all. He didn’t try to upsell me or push unnecessary repairs; instead, he recommended a different mechanic who might be better suited to address my concern. It was clear that he truly cares about our hard-earned money and wants to ensure we receive the right service.
I am so thankful for Brian's honesty and integrity. If you’re looking for a trustworthy mechanic who genuinely cares about his customers, I highly recommend Vegas Transmission Repair. Thank you, Brian, for your exceptional service!

Very efficient and trustworthy. While on a roadtrip our truck was leaking transmission oil, so we stopped and asked them to take a look. They got us in immediately, found the source of the leak, checked our fluid levels, cleaned up all the oil, and sent us on our way without charging us.
