As a former manager of a Walgreens, I can say the pharmacy here is the worst I’ve ever seen

Walgreens corporate are out of their minds. I haven't been to a Walgreens in a while. The price gouging is unreal. An OTC medication that sells inline for $7 was $17 here. I could have had it delivered for half that. I know the shoplifting is killing you, but your pricing is over the top. I hate to say it but I understand why no one cares if they rip you off.

The level of incompetence is astounding. I scheduled an appointment for testing online and drove across town. When I got there they said the test which I specifically signed up for was not available. Why advertise it, and send a confirmation email? There was another test available but they would not allow me to register at the store. They said I had to go back home and register again and set a new appointment. The woman at the window couldn't have cared less. What an awful company.

I posted a review a couple of years ago about another Walgreens location over on Silverado ranch. I never had anything but problems at that location. Rather than blame the company, I just decided to switch locations. Long story short, I'm glad I did. Since moving over to this store, I have nothing but good things to say about the pharmacy staff. Thanks guys! You are appreciated!

I drove my husband here around 4pm on 1/13/2023 to pick up a prescription. The technician at the counter was incredibly polite. We've dealt with her in the past and have always had good service. When asked if he had any questions, my husband asked if there was anything he should know as it was his first time taking the medication. The pharmacist (apparently a visiting pharmacist from another location, a white, middle-aged, blond woman) was extremely dismissive and condescending, audibly huffing at the label of the medication after seeing my husband, and asked in a rude tone, "Do you know how to do injections?" My husband replied that he did. "That's it," she says as she threw the medication down on the counter before picking it up again. "Your insurance filled this as 2ml but you're only taking one. Only use half and throw the rest away because it won't be sterile," she said and threw it down again. This information was incorrect. If she had bothered to read the label, she would have seen that she just instructed him to take half the dosage prescribed. It was clear that this woman had no interest in performing her job. One cannot help but wonder if it had to do with the fact that this medication was for gender affirmative care. All I know for certain is that this pharmacist gave medically-false information to a first-time user of a new medication, a user who is part of a marginalized community. If this is the kind of treatment my husband and I can expect to receive at this pharmacy, we will gladly seek care elsewhere.

Worst pharmacy customer service ever. I've been trying to refill my moms diabetes meds for a week and they keeps telling me it's either in the coverage gap, it's too early to refill, or the insurance has expired. None of that was the case and so I tried going through the app but the pharmacy people kept canceling the refill request without explaining why. So I go there in person to be told it's too soon even though it's over a month past due. They say they'll call the insurance. While I'm waiting, I figure I'll call the insurance to see what claims have been processed. The insurance said Walgreens didn't cancel the last request and that's why it says too soon and that she has to call the pharmacy herself with me on the line. The pharmacist lied to the insurance and said they did cancel it. The insurance agent said then I need to transfer you both to the pharmacy department. Then the pharmacist and other women start talking loudly about me calling the insurance when they said they would and making it sound like I caused then more problems when I'm just trying to get my moms diabetes rx filled! I kept repeating what happened and why I called them but they keep talking over me like I'm a child saying why did you tell us to call them when you called them?! First, I didn't ask the pharmacy to call the insurance, the pharmacy said they had to. Second, the last time they told me they'd call, they completely cancelled the refill request instead! So much drama because THEY didn't do their job right the first time and cancel a rx that was never picked up. Not sure if they're not paying attention or trying to pull one over on the insurance. Thank God I don't go here for my own rxs. My mom only uses Walgreens bc her insurance makes her use them. Genoa Healthcare is so much better and much nicer and respectful and helpful. Luckily they did fix it and refilled it quickly.

Arrived at 5:53pm, their phone system and sign at the door said closing at 6:00pm. All I needed was to grab an over the counter medication. They had the signs turned off and doors locked but still had customers inside. An employee waved me away. I called and after finally getting through their automated phone system to an employee (middle-aged white man with a shaved head) who looked at me through the doors from a register, he told me they were closed even though it was now 5:57. I said I had been waiting outside since 5:53 and just needed to grab one thing. As a response and at 5:58pm, the employee looked at me and said "it's 6:00. We're closed." And hung up the phone. Unacceptable behavior.

5 stars for the service I received at the pharmacy front eh gentleman who was working the counter. Gotta look for the receipt to put his name here. I ran in the store frantic as my 3 year old son was having a horrible allergic reaction. As I told him the situation, he attended me very fast and unboxed the medication as I made the credit card transaction which helped me rush out and give my son the Benadryl. Thank you Sir!

It’s very obvious to me that this store does not care about reviews or it’s customers. Came to pick up a prescription and they tried to send me to North Green Valley when my prescription was at their store all along. They go to lunch so now I have to wait till they finish lunch. When I arrive back there is a crazy line for prescription pick up. Horrible service and a waste of gas! Go to any other Walgreens.
