Not sure if they are just severely understaffed or what but this is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. I have been waiting 2 days for some prescriptions and I really don't understand what the delay is. Tried to call, got cut off while on hold. Will be transferring to another pharmacy as soon as I get these last prescriptions.

This Pharmacy is the worst place to go they kept me in drive through for over half hour to tell me to go back to the end of the line after they couldn't get my prescription together. absolutely rude.

Horrible customer service. They don't help you or listen to you at all. Very disappointed.

Staff is always helpful and attentive. it's all abut how you treat people. It is a very busy pharmacy-they can only do so much to assist people. It is not the staff but the insurance, doctors and pharmaceutical companies that can make it difficult. People /customers are rude, impatient and disrespectful. It is not always the staff but the customers that are the problem.

I am utterly shocked by the level of unprofessionalism at the Walgreens on Charleston and Durango. The staff here are outright unable to perform their jobs effectively, and it's baffling how they managed to make it through pharmacy tech school. Every encounter I've had has been met with rudeness and a complete lack of knowledge.
To top it off, they take an hour-long lunch break right at the busiest time of the day, causing even more delays and frustration for customers. This location desperately needs a complete overhaul in both staff and management. Avoid this place at all costs!

I want to start by saying that I work in healthcare; direct patient care to be exact and I work with pharmacist and pharmacy techs in a hospital setting. I have respect for pharmacist and understand the demands of the job and calculating insurance into it can make for a stressful environment and also sets up pharmacies for negative reviews when people can’t get their meds on time or their insurance won’t go through.
I had a medication of mine refilled 4 days ago and it was ready 4 days ago; my spouse and I share 1 vehicle and we both work full time and take care of our 1 year old. I had to wait until night time to try and get my refill only to be shooed away by a sign that read “pharmacist not on duty” when I inquired, I was met with rudeness beyond comprehension by this lady who told me there was no pharmacist come back next day. I came back and the next day just to see the same sign AGAIN!! This isn’t the first, second, third or even fourth time this has happened. Why when prescriptions are already approved can you not give them to patients?! If there is no pharmacist why? Why can’t another one come in? Or have another one from Walgreens down the street come down to approve some prescriptions for both Walgreens? Now I’m getting calls from an automated line asking me why I haven’t picked up my prescription? Are you serious? There unfortunately wasn’t a button I could press on my phone for “pharmacist was not at work for two days”.
The lack of care really shows on most of these peoples faces. We are all humans, please don’t judge my spouse, myself or anyone for what medications they’re taking. Have I had a grumpy mean day as a nurse? Yes, everyone does; people can push your tipping point; but I can honestly say that I really try to put myself in my patients shoes and do right by them and even more. There’s no reason for the employees here to be as rude as they are and roll their eyes to my husband and “pretend” to call our pcp when really she just went to the back and came back 5 min later to say “he didn’t answer”; meanwhile we were texting with our doctor while we were waiting and he said no one called him. Shame on you! You judged my husband and refused his right to his medication!
Please have this pharmacy actually have a pharmacist while they’re open so we can pick up our meds.
The ONLY reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because of the really nice pharmacy tech who usually works at night (a guy with a beard) and that this pharmacy usually carries the medications that my family and I take.

Worst pharmacists on the planet. I wish I read reviews before I went there. Avoid this place! Doctor prescribed antibiotics and they put too much water in the mix. I just went back and they simple wave arms like ohh well. I wonder how many bad reviews have to go in so this place get audited.

I do not recommend this pharmacy for anybody who is struggling with mental health or recovery. As I am in recovery, I am going through the process of trying different medication’s for the different symptoms I have in different stages of tapering off medication. My doctor sent in a prescription last week and I was not informed until today (i’ve been trying to get my prescriptions for the last 48 hours, but first there was no pharmacist on duty and then they did not have my medication - unorganized and rude) that the doctor refuses to dispense it to me. This means that my recovery will be compromised. I was originally told by the pharmacy tech I had to wait until a certain date (I don’t use insurance, so it wasn’t a matter of me waiting for the approval from my insurance), but asked to speak to the pharmacist. Once I asked him whether or not, this was his opinion, or if it was a legal statue in Nevada. With an EXREME attitude, he admitted it’s his opinion. I feel like he was treating me as if I was abusing medication, and that was his first assumption, instead of listening to the note from the doctor, and what I said to him. He also yelled at me and asked why my doctor didn’t talk to him as if I’m supposed to know that it’s supposed to happen . When he started getting an attitude with me, I asked him not to be rude, and then he proceeded to argue with me instead of trying to find a solution for me. I told him can you please not be rude. I’m trying to figure out a solution (Actually that was the second time I asked him not to be rude), I ended up yelling at him because he was not being professional at all nor was he making an effort to try and help me solve this issue with the Pharmacy. He made it seem like it was a requirement that he talked to my doctor, but made no effort to do so, and did not tell me it was a requirement upfront. Therefore, his opinion is going to make me extremely ill as the pharmacist is completely aware of the symptoms. I will become extremely ill, If do not continue taking this medication that I’ve been taking every day for the last month. Abruptly stopping medication that I’ve been taking for the past month could lead to hospitalization or even death. Walgreens and the pharmacist on duty today at 12 PM on November 9 is responsible for this severe decline in my mental health and physical well-being. In my opinion, this is medical malpractice. I even had the pharmacist read me the instructions from my doctor and he did state clearly that it says I am switching medication’s (again he did this reluctantly, and very aggressively- dismissive, as if I am not a human who is trying to heal myself.) I do not appreciate the automatic assumption that I am abusing a medication I need to survive. This shows that he is not being impartial, and he is letting his opinion about society interfere with doing his job. I will be going to corporate maybe an attorney as well.

Called around 830 to check on my prescription status since it said it be ready at 830pm. No answer and was on the phone for 10mins. Then decided to drive down since it was close to my home. Go there at 8:45pm and there was one person head of me. The pharmacy closes at 9pm which after they helped the person it was about 9:03pm and before I could even drive up. They closed the window and put a sign, letting me know it was closed. It was upsetting because one, they couldn’t even pick up the phone and two just to close the window like that when they knew I was in line. My meds were time sensitive so I needed them that night. It would have been better if they could at least talk to me or tell me to transfer the meds to another location but they refused to acknowledge me when I was there. One lady seemed to wanted to use the speaker to talk to me but the other lady was using her hands and mouth to say “no” then I see the lady just put her hands up and walk away.. Just a sad experience. But I’m glad another Walgreens was able to help me out. So kudos to the Walgreens team on Lake Mead and Buffalo.

The worst. I was waiting for my daughter prescription for two weeks, so I finally called them only to hear "ok, you can transfer the prescription to another location". No concern for someone's health condition, no apologies for the delay, just "ok"...
