The reviews are real on here.
Officially done with this Walgreens Pharmacy (Southern Highlands).
Every visit feels like an ordeal. The drive-thru line is always long, and even after waiting 15 minutes, prescriptions often aren’t ready when promised. This latest experience was the final straw.
My prescription took over a week to fill because the pharmacy repeatedly processed it as a 90-day supply without confirming with my doctor—or informing me about the delay. When I finally called for an update, I specifically asked them to fill it as a 30-day prescription, since my bottle clearly showed I still had one refill left. That’s when they told me I had no refills remaining, which was completely incorrect. The person I spoke with seemed irritated rather than helpful.
After contacting my doctor, I confirmed that I did have a refill. Even after confirming this morning that the prescription would be filled within a couple of hours, it still wasn’t ready when I arrived later that evening. When I went to pick it up on October 28 around 6:05 p.m., the drive-thru employee rudely told me it wasn’t ready and that I’d need to wait another 10 minutes—after already waiting in line for 15. This was the third time this has happened.
The only positive note was the associate inside the store who was kind and apologetic when she saw how upset I was. Unfortunately, one helpful employee can’t make up for repeated mistakes, poor communication, and a clear lack of empathy from the rest of the team.
I’ll be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere—even if it means driving 30 minutes. I highly recommend filling your prescriptions at another location.

I always get a text that my prescription is ready. Once I arrive at the Walgreens pharmacy, I always have to wait, and they inform me that I need to fill my prescription. I don’t understand why you receive a ready text, and then when you get there, it’s not.

The wait here is terrible! Takes an hour or longer. Even 9:30 at night the wait in the drive thru is still long. I’ve been to different walgreen locations and this is the worst! Meds are also delayed. They need to change something.

It has been six days since my PCP sent the prescription to this pharmacy and until now, it's not ready.

Horrible service, wait time is horrible and if they mess up your insurance, prescription, or medication you must wait for the manager to call you back , if they call back, but unfortunately too bad for you... 1st visit, sent me out the door with wrong medication, 2nd wrong amount and didn't charge insurance correctly..avoid.

Unbelievably incompetent customer service by the pharmacy. After multiple disconnected calls, the pharmacy tech took all of the information to transfer a prescription from a CVS pharmacy. Two days later when I called back to inquire as to the status, I was told there's no record of the transfer having ever been requested. They then started to ask me the same questions I'd already answered 2 days earlier.

This store is thee most disorganized pharmacy that I have ever used.
Under staffed, prescription medications not always in stock, it appears that they have a high turnover in staffing.
The pharmacy lines are ridiculously long both inside and out.
I can go on, and on.

This Walgreens pharmacy is terrible! They take hours / days to fill a script. Awful, especially when you are in a pain. Should have used Smiths next door!

Do not try to fill anything important here. No sense of urgency, no updates, no cares.

For the past 5 years I don't think I've been able to pick up multiple prescriptions at the same time. Something is always wrong. Couple this with long waits for a pickup and multiple trips.

Doesn't matter when you call, you'll get a call center that can't help with anything. If you need to talk to the Pharmacist, you'll wait on hold 10 - 20 min, then they'll pick up and immediately hang up on you. If you call back it will happen again. If you call the main store and ask for the manager, they'll page the pharmacist, then your chances are 50/50. If you want to try that, good luck to you. I don't have time for this bs, I'm just going somewhere else.

Writing the review while being put on hold for over 25 minutes not my first rodeo but my first time wanting to write about my frustration about their supposed call center and how this coincides with the actual pharmacy technician’s at the store not the ones taking calls at the call center. So the call center can only do so much, so when you need to actually speak to a person at the actual store you get you meds from it is a crazy game! So what they do is put you on hold as the call drops to whomever is the closest to the phone as they sit talking story not being able to multitask because they have plenty of other customers waiting for their medicine in line at the store and they are always understaffed so they can’t answer their phone, I mean that’s the reason why the opened a supposed call center right? So they answer and just say Walgreens pharmacy please hold and they will continue to do this game until the phone drops you because of being on hold to long. Just once in a long while a shot in the dark, You will have a person that has enough experience to be able to do two things at once and answer your call that is able to answer a phone help with your questions, processing your medication that needed the attention of actual person at the store to process because the Walgreens supposed call center has the authority to only do so much.. again another waste of money, huge companies throw away thinking they found a solution instead of putting more money into more training and maybe paying these technicians a little more and employ a few people at the actual stores to take calls with the authority to move prescriptions through by taking the calls instead of having this so called front of a call center and we customers getting hung up on and treated like we don’t matter. I understand that their is a lot of people asking questions that don’t need to be asked and take a lot of their time as well but It’s our insurances that they process claims to get paid and they want more people to fill their prescriptions but they can’t handle the volume. We customers suffer and continue to play this game, Mind you as I write this review the Walgreens pharmacy technician’s employees including the pharmacist over 5 people answered and said Hello Walgreens please hold and puts you back on hold and the only reasons why they even answer is because their phone is ringing off the hook and they have to answer to be able to stop the ringing for just a few minutes more and play the game over and over and over again. The call will drop before the 30 minutes is over and you will have to call back again and play the game or even better drive all the way there and wait line and spend at least an hour and gas just to get a simple question answered. A long review but I had plenty of time on hold to write it. In 2025 cars are driving it self and this is what we still have to deal with and in the future they will ask why Artificial Intelligence took their jobs?

I visit this store a couple times a week.
The low ratings from others is due to how unbelievable busy it is during peek hours.
This is their best location by far, if you visit outside of peek hours. They are open 27/4.
Daniel C is my favorite employee. He is very nice and extremely helpful!

The pharmacy here doesn’t answer calls so much as curate a performance piece called Hang Up, Hang Out. I called five times, endured their soul-sucking hold music, and each time they picked up only to hang up. Kafka would’ve loved it. Customers won’t.

I have been trying to pick up my prescription for a week now. Every time I go, there are about ten people in line, and each person at the counter takes five to ten minutes.
I waited in line for 40 minutes, only to be told that my prescription wasn't ready because there was an error in how it was processed.
