Been going to Mario's for over 20 years. They used to sell open pit bbq sauce but stopped. They have other hard to find items from Chicago and other places. Also the hot food area is great! At the meat counter, they will cut your meat to your specifications. The prices have gone up a little like most stores and I wish they had better looking produce and fruit. But it's mainly for convenience. Overall, I make the trip to get those hard to find items. Everyone is friendly too.

Wow! Okay, I pass this place on my way home everyday and didn't know the treasures inside. My neighbor had me over for some dinner and it was all from Mario's. I was like where is this from and where can I get more. I took my coworkers a few days later. The neighborhood is not the greatest but once you are in you forget all about the outside. Mario's is a Market that sells southern food items that are difficult to find in regular stores. As you make your way to the back, basically follow your nose..hahaha. I ordered the catfish with Mac and cheese and the green beans. Their portions are big and generous. I loved loved loved all the items. They all had massive southern flavors. You know how green beans can be blan, well these are the tastiest green beans I had from a food store. Will I be going back...don't be silly, HELL YEAH!!!

Straight to the point, if you are from the South, it makes you smile and feel the power of black peoples love for each other. Went on a Sunday morning to place a order with five brothers traveling from different states for the NFL Raiders game, all Retired Navy Veterans. Greetings with support in placing our order, lots of help. If you are not ready to to deal with a real neighborhood people and comments overheard, or afraid of being in a less fortunate place, then you do not understand the South. I smiled and was full of laughter the entire time. The store has all, I mean all the ingredients of cooking good food. Greetings from church members and the community was a blessing, everyone was nice. The food portion was very, very, very large for 10 people we had food left over, my partner's are not little guys either. Potato salad was the closest to eating my mother's and wife's (). Wings are big pieces of chicken. Thanks and appreciate the Market. I will return and give my support. Michael

This is the best place in Vegas to buy southern style items. They have a variety KC pound cakes from 7ip to Louisiana crumb cake. All good. They gave southern seasonings ,dried beans, all kinds, and hot sausage like you find in New Orleans. On top of all these great things you can also buy cooked food. From fried fish, collard greens to peach cobbler. If you love southern good, you must stop here. You won't be disappointed.

Pretty good, i've been here a few times during my lunch break to pick up some snacks. Always a quick process, no long lines. More than decent snack selection, and just about anything you'd want you can find. Can't say anything about their food since i haven't tried it yet, overall nice spot with nice staff.

Marios has fresh meats from the Butcher block and many Down South Classic cooking neccessities, sometime a lil high but you wont find a better HOG HEAD CHEESE .

Mario's could be a 5 if they could get the order right. I ordered fish, greens, Mac n cheese, and peach cobbler. I was so looking forward to a nice meal. Instead I got fish, potato salad, Mac n cheese and a humongous order of dried out steak fries. I was very disappointed. They really need to get their act together since this was a waste of $50. I really want to support their business when I'm in town. Order takers really need to pay attention or you're going to lose good paying customers.

Good fried fish in the city of Las Vegas is almost nonexistent so when I heard about Mario's Westside market I decided to give it a try. Located in a shopping center, Mario's is a little hole in the wall convenience market. When you walk into the right is all of the liquor. Going further into the store there are shelves and meat cases but it appears the star of the show is their deli which this fish is located. It was super late in the day so they only had a few items and it appeared to be sitting out in the pans for a while. An old man asked for some steak and he was told that they ran out. There were a few fish pieces so I grabbed about a pound and a half to take home. It was just around $20 for 2 pounds. The market is not in the best area so be prepared if you are not used to that kind of thing. There was a register in the deli area but since they were close to closing I took everything up to the front counter. The fish was SUPER SALTY. I mean it seem like they took the entire can of seasoning salt and threw it into the cornmeal lol! The crunch taste and texture was there. It was just WAY too salty. I actually enjoyed the fish more the next day when I threw the entire pan back into the oven. I think this fish would have been good on a Poboy. I had it with some rice and gravy.

Great food! Love the catfish! Reminds me of little markets in Mississippi. Yelp it is stupid to force me to say more.

I was super excited that I had time in my work day to stop at Mario's fish market for lunch. Surprisingly there wasn't a line not a single person ahead of me. Which was extremely strange for this place because I'm used to waiting forever to get a nice plate. The soda machine was down and they Don't tell you until you check out. I have water dont like their koolaid so I basically was forced to get a can Shasta soda. After checking out I go to my vehicle because the food is known for being so good I can't leave the parking lot without a taste. I open my tray and when I tell you the okra was soft and cold, the macaroni and cheese was disgusting with only one clump of cheese , and the fish was dry overcooked and old. I even broke more than one piece in half to see if it was just one or all of them SMH how dare them serve this to someone. There must be a new cook or something but no wonder nobody was in line to eat this bull sh*t. Worse 16.00 lunch ever
