About Lane's Ranch Motel
Lane's Ranch Motel is a nice, clean motel offering simple, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and a restful atmosphere. It is described as old but clean and comfy, with a great bed and perfect pillows. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and patient, with easy check in and out. The motel has easy access, plenty of parking, is pet friendly, and has laundry on site. The location is quiet and peaceful, about a half hour from the nearest anything, providing a very restful stay with beautiful Nevada landscape on view. An adjacent café and restaurant at the gas station serve excellent food, with very good breakfast and lunch, including excellent hamburgers and BLTs. Some criticisms include the television, which has very few channels and no network channels, and the shower, which could use a better cleaning or non-slip tape. A minor note is that a few flies can sometimes get into the rooms. Overall, it is considered a great motel for the price and a nice stop before Ely, outdoing any Ely hotel hands down for those willing to have dinner elsewhere. Guests would stay again.
Everything about the motel was great. Old but clean and comfy. I rated lower because of the TV. Three channels and two of them buzzed all the time. Couldn't get news, weather just history channel. The café was excellent and food the best.
