ATC was repeatedly asking me to recycle the transponder in our Cessna T182T. I contacted Accurate Aero about replacing the transponder. Mario Filice emailed me a written estimate the following day. The estimate was detailed and thorough and addressed all the work required to install a new Garmin transponder. I found Mario and his team to be extremely knowledgeable about Garmin and Aspen Avionics products. Mario scheduled the work a month after he prepared the estimate and was ready to complete the work on the scheduled date. He completed the work in the time frame he told me would be required for the work. He left the airplane clean and completed the product registration for the new transponder. He resolved an issue with our storm scope and showed me how to connect my Ipad to the transponder via Bluetooth. I will return to Accurate Aero for future avionics upgrades – Chris Brocchini

Mario and his crew have done a great job on the avionics upgrade and engine tune up. Work was completed on time and within budget, and communication was timely, thorough, and comprehensive every step of the way. Mario has made himself available for post-installation support and help with setting up and troubleshooting the newly installed system and communicating with Garmin to resolve higher level issues. I am extremely happy with my experience with Accurate Aero and highly recommend Mario and his team.

Mario and the crew do great work. Trustworthy, honest and upfront. My kind of people.Update: it's been a year or so since my Garmin install. Garmin yaw dampener servo issue. Mario and crew were on it. Ordered replacement parts, installed and very timely. Added some fans for the G3x since the screen was overheating. Not their fault...A couple of other small issues, to be expected, given the scope and size of the project. Again, Mario and crew handled it in a timely manner.Very happy with the employees and the shop.Than you Accurate Aero...very happy customer.

Mario knows what he is doing and cares about doing a good job, much better than others.His prices are moderate and the lowest quote we got.I got 5 quotes for a complete panel and everyone else wanted to change the avionics I had spec'd out. Also, Mario is the easiest to communicate with. He really has only one competitor, in Stead. All the others in the greater area fall far short.

Accurate Aero upgraded the avionics and autopilot in my Bonanza over a couple stages. Mario was always responsive and delivered as promised and on time in a very professional manner. The quality of work has been good with no lingering installer-related issues. I recommend Accurate Aero and will be returning for any future avionics repairs or upgrades.

Accurate Aero upgraded my radio, transponder and avionics including ADS-B in/out in my 1942 Navy N3N.This project required considerable planning and reviewing many alternatives to find the optimal mix of capability, fitment, function and cost. Everyone who worked with me was patient and focused on my needs. There was never any pressure to hurry or settle on a price. In fact, when we were done we chose a less expensive option than one of the early preferred alternatives. They sincerely looked after my project like it was their own aircraft.When the installation was done it was thorough and even evolved as the work moved forward to improve the final result. They have continued to support me in tuning and adjusting the system to make it work as well as possible.Additionally, recently I needed a transponder check on another aircraft I own. I asked and they got it done almost immediately. It was “let me finish this step I am working on and I will come right over.” Job done in about a half hour from my request. Exceptional service.Avionics professionals like Mario and his team are hard to find. They are right here in Minden.

Just upgraded my Super Decathlon to ADS-B in and out (new radio and transponder) along with a 406 ELT, USB power plugs and "pullable" circuit breakers. Mario and his crew did an outstanding job. They were reasonable and accurate with their bid and kept me informed every step of the way (Mario and a couple of his team are pilots so they "get it"). All systems worked perfectly on the first flight and continue to perform as advertised. This is the shop for avionics. Most excellent!

I recently used Accurate Aero for an ADS-B upgrade in an aircraft I recently purchased (Piper Tomahawk). The entire project consisted of a new transponder, new radio, new ADS-B in hardware, in-panel USB power plugs, various and necessary certifications, and a whole lot of house cleaning behind the panel. I have to say I was impressed from start to finish. During the initial phases I was presented with several estimates with a variety of hardware and had all questions answered thoroughly about the pros and cons of each. I eventually made my selection and work started quickly. During the project I was most impressed with the high level of communication I received. When the project was completed at the time promised, there were no surprises with respect to billing. In other words, the original estimate was followed. It's important to note that while getting estimates for this project I must have spent about four weeks contacting avionics shops far and wide. I probably reached out to six or more. Accurate Aero was the only facility that actually followed up thoroughly with me. Overall, I'm very impressed and recommend these folks 100%.
