Built Motors is Business to Business. It is Not Business to Consumer. If you walk in with your part to get fixed, you just as well turn right around and walk right back out. Cause he is just going to give you excuses after excuses. Even though you are bringing him the exact same thing businesses are bringing him; businesses look like big bucks to him. You look like you’re wasting your time, to him. And you are. Let m give you an example…
He had our Polaris cylinder head for 2 months.
I brought him the cylinder head April 25. I asked if it would be ready by june 5.. He said it would be close.
Then He didn’t work for the next 2 weeks.
I called and left messages everyday for 1 week.
Then he worked a week. I asked if it’s too much for him I can bring it somewhere else!
Then he took 1 week off for vacation!
He would have it ready July 1. He was leaving July 1, for vacation.
June 28 He called said He was leaving today! And the parts didn’t come. But they should be there July 1
I called july 9. He said it would be done this week.
He called July 12 and said the wrong parts came! on july 1.
That was the last straw, I picked up the cylinder head July 15 and brought it somewhere else. 10 days shy of him having my cylinder head for 3 months.
His posted hours are 10-6. But come on. He can show up by 11, if you ask him to. But he leaves before 4. And of course, he has plenty of excuses as to why he comes late, and plenty of excuses is why he leaves early. But then you come to understand why it takes him so long to fix your part.

Was greeted promptly and we discussed a piston kit and bore job. Is not completed yet.UPDATED 5/9/22 Bike assembled and drives perfectly.
