First time going to this car wash. It was so amazing. And actually got my car completely clean. I live in the mountains wear roads can do a number on windows and paint. My car looks really clean. Better than other drive through cash washes.

Normally I just pay my kids to clean my car, but they’re at that lovely teenage stage where anything I ask is “too much.” 😅 So, I decided to treat myself and swing by Sierra Express Car Wash in Minden instead — best decision I’ve made all week.
Jenee helped me out, and she was awesome. Super friendly, patient, and actually made the whole thing kind of fun. She walked me through the options and even told me about the monthly plan — and honestly, I’m really considering it. It might finally put an end to the “I’ll do it later” saga with my kids. 😂
The wash was quick, my car came out sparkling, and the vacuums were strong enough to tackle all the pet hair and kid crumbs hiding in every corner. I left feeling way too proud of how clean my car looked.
Big thanks to Jenee for being so helpful and upbeat — she definitely made the experience a great one!

They charged my credit card for 8 months without me knowing about it and they only refunded me not even half of what they took out of my account!!! I'm not to happy about it! I will not be washing my car there ever again!!!

If you cancel your membership, be sure to check your credit card for continued billing and get a cancel receipt to prove it. Employees will have no accountability!

This is without a doubt the worst Sierra Wash in all of northern Nevada.
You need a PhD to figure out the proper way to enter. There’s ’Do Not Enter’ signs all over the place further complicating the matter.
Even with the top of the line Grand Champion my tires still came out as dirty and dusty as before the wash and the amount of dirt on the back window and liftgate of my SUV was laughable.
The worst issue though is the metal holders for the vacuum hoses. The awkward angle and force required to remove them means your fingers get nicked and bloody every time you do it. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen
On the plus side there are a ton of vacuum stalls so there’s probably never a line or people hogging them doing an hour long self detail like at some of the Reno locations.
