The nice thing is that you can pull in at 1:00 AM in the morning and there's lots and lots of free parking for semi trucks on both sides of the road, pull thru or park where you don't block anybody. Late November they're doing construction they do have the fuel Islands open and it seems that showers are working on the east side of the building, on the West Side the casino or slot machines are being remodeled they only have the convenience store with the tobacco store open. A little hard to navigate around since all the doors are plastered and not labeled right to find the entrances. I think the employees get a kick out of seeing people lost looking for things and areas. The little restaurant has an ok breakfast.

People come to shoot off all the fireworks they have after the fourth. A great display but we were pretty close to the action but wow what a great night.

Today I had the best chicken enchiladas with creamy verde, that I have ever had. Bean and rice were both delicious too. Everything fresh. My boyfriend had the chicken fried chicken dinner and loved it. I would eat there at least weekly if I lived here. His tossed salad was a dinner plate big. Also all completely fresh. I can't say enough good about it. Love love love!

Gas prices here were refreshingly low (a rare treat these days), the station itself was brightly lit and tidy--no horror movie vibes at 5 a.m., which I appreciated. Since we arrived before dawn, we had to enter the fireworks store through the attached convenience shop. That part? Less delightful. The smell hit us like a rotten egg to the face--definitely not the wake-up call I'd planned. Fortunately, once we crossed into the actual fireworks section, it was like stepping into a completely different world. The space was massive--think "Fourth of July wonderland" rather than your average roadside pop-up. Everything was clean, well-lit, and clearly organized, with labeled aisles and shelves stocked with what seemed like every firework ever invented (possibly more). The staff were fantastic--friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. One standout cashier even gave me a personalized fireworks tour, sharing pros and cons of different options like a pyrotechnic sommelier. Thanks to them, I left with the perfect batch for my needs. I give it a 10/10... or I guess 5/5on here Despite the funky-smelling detour, I'd still give the overall experience an 8/10. Just hold your breath on the way in and check the law wherever you plan to take them. ** edit to add BEWARE NOTHING SOLD HERE IS LEGAL TO TAKE INTO CALIFORNIA. If you are caught taking any across the sate line. Your fireworks could be confiscated and a $2500 "processing fee" .

DO NOT COME HERE, you can not leave with the fireworks, it's illegal to possess fireworks in Clark county, DO NOT BUY THEM, someone is watching in the lot and the police will pull you over the second you leave the reservation. I just did my annual trip to get fireworks and had a great time as always and as soon as I leave BOOM red and blue lights, 500 dollar fine and they took everything. DO NOT COME HERE

The firework place is connected to Chevron in the back of the building.
Clean restrooms and a place for snacks and food.

On my On-The-Road travels, a buddy of mine told me that a worthwhile stop was the Moapa Paiute Travel Plaza for some grub. He was right. And being a roadside travel stop, it had a gift, smoke and liquor sections to load up with essentials. It's a good place to check out, especially if you're a cigarette smoker, great prices and selection.
